    This may be de rigueur for campaigns, dunno.
    The Trump Campaign treats their campaign workers to a variety of perks, one being sitting in the bleachers behind the President.

    Some guys, who are experienced (ex-LEO, ex-military, etc) and vetted, will be put in the front row and strategic spots in the crowd, to help being eyes and ears for USSS, alerting the USSS, taking down violent protesters, etc. There were tons of guys who qualified.

    Our guy, particularly good, was put outside in the parking lot, assigned with a couple USSS, watching the parking lot and the doors of the building.
    Our guy told me his assignment location, and i told him what he was doing. He couldn’t figure out how i knew.
    Common sense.

    Do other campaigns trust their volunteers like this?
    Dunno, Doubt it.
