My hometown, Gainesville, GA, had protests all weekend. They were led by the Newtown Florist Club! About 900 people, and there were, so far, 10 arrests. Old Joe, the old Confederate statue got spray painted, and a few other things, but Gainesvillians are pissed! This is only about 40 miles north of Atlanta.

If anyone here remains unarmed I suggest you take a 101 gun class and get a gun.
We had a protest march here yesterday. Very peaceful. The word was sent out that protesters needed to come to a predominately white city because us whiteys don’t get it. The call was put out for people to come here from Milwaukee so that the march had people of color. I didn’t see a whole lot of people of color.
LE here is smart. They gave the could be rioters an escort and ground rules.
Oh and we had veterans patrolling downtown with their AR 15’s. The veterans told the protesters that they needed to be well behaved.
