    Pvt. or Lance Cpl. Schmuckatelli
The John Doe of the Marine Corps. He’s the screw-up and the guy always getting in trouble. The Marine who is lost all the time. The anonymous service-member who stands as the example of what not to do. This term will usually be brought up by a senior leader, like: “Hey gents, you are all doing good things. Be safe out there this weekend, but don’t let me get a phone call about Pvt. Schmuckatelli getting all drunk out at the club and getting into trouble, good to go?”

Mornin’ everyone. Just sunny here. Storm came up yesterday evening but we didn’t get any rain from it at all. I was visiting friends last night and a neighbor came by and we started talking about kids going back to school in the fall. My friend and the neighbor are teachers. The other guy figures if the kids go back to school WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE!!! I was laughing and joking around because I thought he was joking. It finally got through to me, he is serious. This is a teacher. SMH

Morning Aus, I would have simply said “I guess Mother Earth will be happy since all of us human folks are killing her.” Make a liberal argue that humans are good, it would have been fun 😎.

Good afternoon, aus! Another overcast day here. The highlight of my day so far was saying good morning to my neighbor when I took out the trash.

This should get us tapping our feet…

Gene Krupa (1909-1973) & his Orchestra in 1945 – “Leave Us Leap” – Charlie Ventura (tenor saxophone), Teddy Napoleon (piano) in an excerpt from the film “George White’s Scandals.”

In 1978, Krupa became the first drummer inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame.

Seems that a notorious Lansing, MI …ummmm…novelty store…and sex club, the Club Tabu, has been operating even though the gov issued orders closing down nonessential businesses. After a story was published on its being open the Ingham County Health Department sent the owners a letter demanding that the club and the store close. I personally liked the spokesperson’s statement that the patrons were way closer than the mandated six feet of separation, there’s no way they could maintain accepted social distancing.

The club had been sent a warning letter a week prior but stayed open so this time they were sent a ‘cease and desist letter’ and the county warned that (their words): “We have law enforcement folks who are willing to go out and visit the business.”. AND they get paid to do that – is this a great country or what?

The Brits could do with a real King Arthur at this point in their increasingly dhimmy history…

A 1978 performance of “Camelot” by Richard Burton, who first performed on Broadway as King Arthur opposite Julie Andrews (as Queen Guenevere) in the original 1960 stage production.

I have got a special movie. It is End of the Spear. It is a small budget movie, beautifully filmed, well acted, not Hollywooded, and very interesting. It is a true story about some Indians in Ecuador who spent their whole existence fighting each other and missionaries who went in and stopped it. I highly recommend it. I found it on AmazonPrime on IMBD. I am not sure where else it might be found.

    Excellent movie

This is a wonderful movie about the human spirit. It was beautifully and lovingly made by people who were truly moved by the story. We watched in a screening at the University I work at and the Producer came to speak about the project and how he got involved. I and 1300 others watched the movie, in folding chairs, yet we were not uncomfortable at all because the movie is so enrapturing that you just don’t notice your surroundings at all. The majority of the audience was college aged students and I’ve never seen them so moved, and amazingly quiet, for such a long time. I believe that this movie will have a great impact on the lives of all who see it. I highly recommend it.
