A man who can lightly misrepresent the circumstances surrounding the death of his wife and infant daughter is liable to be just as cavalier when it comes to, say, slavery, telling a largely black audience that Mitt Romney — Mitt Romney! — wants to “put y’all back in chains.” (Oh, that “y’all”!) Cynical doesn’t begin to cover it.
I hope there are no poison pills hidden in the legislation.

Spike Lee spends much of his time apokin’ da natives and trying to massage liberal white guilt. His post-Katrina screed is still a big joke those who were here laugh about, he repeated BS stories that have been around since the 1927 flood, he just dusted them off and repeated them. If some white rabble-rouser did what he did for whites he’d be soundly thumped by the self-righteous media as a racist…but you can’t be non-white and a racist.
