If I’m correct, Acting Director Richard Grenell can serve for 210 days and Congress can use that time to interview and decline or accept the nomination of the President’s choice.

It would seem that if the Senate doesn’t confirm a Director in that time frame, Richard Grenell gets to serve another 7 months. There is no rule that the President has to make a nomination in a certain time frame so…..Warner & Burr either confirm Ratcliffe, who knows they were involved in promoting the Russian Hoax during this confirmation process or Warner & Burr face Richard Grenell for upwards of a year and Grenell knows where the intelligence bodies are buried.

I believe that with this nomination PDJT has given the Senate Intelligence Committee (Warner & Burr) a no-win proposition….
