    All of our spring blooming bulbs are up or in flowers as are many of our fruit trees. Longleaf pines have already started putting out candles and maples are starting to red-out. Looks like Spring be springen.

    Tucker report:

    The other day my hand-knit gauntlets (knit by my SIL Nancy) disappeared. Either I had misplaced them … or Tucker ate them. Well, this morning, Tucker barfed up something that looks suspiciously like the remains of some kind of knitwear. I suppose I should be pleased that they came up. Sorry for the morning grossness.

    Mornin’ everyone. It is almost 75* here already. I am beginning to wonder if we are going to skip the rest of winter and spring, and jump into summer early. 🙄

    For four years, polling has documented that the president’s strongest support demographic is America’s Orthodox Jews. The support runs between 70 percent in radical Los Angeles to 90 percent most everywhere else. This has been documented here and here and here and here and here. Although much of that support stems from a deep affinity with his stands on the whole gamut of traditional American cultural and social issues, an underestimated factor is that community’s natural acquaintance with Borscht Belt humor. Those who “get” that humor know precisely how to understand Trump, what to take seriously, what to brush off, and what deeper messages to take away from his speeches and tweets. Those who do not get the style and nuance end up completely misunderstanding him and then attacking him for communicating thoughts he never contemplated.

    Those in the media must have known this for quite some time. The name Buttigieg is unusual enough to stand out when doing any kind of research. Looks like Petey is the son of a major American communist whose goal was the destruction of culture and morals. Wonder why he’s not yelling this to the top of his lungs…it would certainly put him at the top of the Left’s love list.

      Whatever else he is, he’s an Obama 2.0. He ran a city in Indiana and not very well when he did. He has no experience on the state level. He shouldn’t be in the race. Realistically, he has nothing to run on but words, with no real accomplishments. Running a city is about good a qualification for becoming present as voting present in the Senate is. But because he’s homosexual, that will be the attempted selling point for him, and as with Obama, any opposition to his policies (if he’s elected, God forbid), will be that his opponents are homophobes, not that his policies suck.

      So who’s ready for Obama redux?

      (Not me. I’m still trying to recover from Obama himself.)
