My opinion is that many people are jumping to conclusions about John Bolton. I have not read any quotes from Bolton’s actual book, just the opinions of Maggie Haberman at the NYT, based on anonymous sources. Until I either read the book or hear John Bolton talk about it publicly, I remain a skeptic.

Good position to take. Bolton can stay quiet and let all this swirl which only sells more books………..even if it isn’t true that he put it in his book. The really galling thing is that even if the President did say it, what difference does it make?

Agree. As far as I know, Bolton and his legal reps have remained silent so far.

I think they did put out a statement that they didn’t leak and that the only copy was sent to the White House.

I am angry though, that Sandra Smith (I think it is) on FOX was asking Lee Zelden about all the others who said what Bolton MAY HAVE SAID, what should we think about them. Like, if Bolton disagrees with them we should take his word and believe that 4 or 5 others are lying.

Bolton is a disgruntled former employee and also wants to sell books. In a real trial I would think that would make him not a reliable witness and doubt he would be allowed to testify.
