The government’s on the lookout for passengers entering the country from China who might have the Wuhan virus but what about folks like me who order items directly from China? Do we have any idea how long the virus stays ‘viable’ outside of the human body and under what conditions?

VP Mike Pence OPENS UP about President Trump, Family Values, and MORE!
Huckabee – This isn’t a recent taping, though it was posted on January 23rd. An enjoyable 28+ minutes which goes fast. About a 5 minute excerpt was posted in December, I think.

    10 Smiles

    1) Look who was at the Pro Life march in DC. (One of America’s newest and youngest multi-millionaires) 🙂

    2) Today the anvil falls on Team Schiff.

    3) “Democrats had us voting Democrats for food stamps for years, bro..making us abort our children? thou shall not kill.”__Kanye West

    4) Americans are so over the Democrat’s sham theatrics that there were empty seats in the viewing gallery during their navel gazing monologues.

And the democrats are perplexed as to why

My guess is that the defense will draw a crowd.

    5)

    6) Awesome shower curtain.

    7) Best guess, as part of his defense, President Trump’s team is going to destroy Joe Biden today. Liberals are going to explode.

    8) Blood donors.

    9) As for me, to love you alone, to make you happy, to do nothing which would contradict your wishes, this is my destiny and the meaning of my life.__ Napoleon Bonaparte

    10) The man in the video with James is his father who has stage 4 chronic Kidney disease, as of a week ago a matching kidney had not yet become available.

Neither James or his sister are matches.

Unable to tell his father, a former cavalry officer in the 13th/18th Royal Hussars and helicopter pilot and colonel with the Army Air Corps, how he really felt, he put his feelings into a song.

“I stumble with normal words and I struggle to have certain conversations with my father,” he admits.

“So I wrote this song called Monsters and it says, ‘I’m not your son. You’re not my father. We’re just two grown men saying goodbye, no need to forgive, no need to forget and I know your mistakes and you know mine’.

The smile here is for the unconditional love between a father and a son.

It’s looking more and more like the Wuhan virus came from the wet market. The Chinese investigators are agreeing with the WHO, seems the only thing left to be worked out is the route from the source to the human host. Interesting thing is that the Chinese are leaning towards bats as the base vector in Wuhan just as they did in they 2002 SARS outbreak.

Bats are “delicacies” in China and served in their finest restaurants.

An article from EcoHealthAlliance (likely a “man-caused global warming” advocate, but this article is quite informative): “Our 7 Favorite Facts About Bats”

Bats are immune to many diseases

Bats are not affected by many diseases that are lethal to humans like Ebola, SARS, and Nipah. This makes them natural reservoirs for these diseases that all, incidentally, rank among the WHO’s top eight emerging disease threats. This has given them a pretty bad name since they were discovered to be a reservoir for rabies in the 1930s.

It is, though, important to keep in mind that the vast majority of disease spillover from bats into humans is due to human behavior. The SARS outbreak in China was due to humans touching the carcasses of dead bats being sold in wet markets. Nipah’s first outbreak in humans happened after pig farmers began feeding mangoes which had been partially eaten by Nipah-positive bats to their swine.

At EcoHealth Alliance, we work with bats on a regular basis and it’s important that we keep One Health in mind. For us it’s not just about considering the important relationships of all living things, but also the ways we can all mitigate bat-borne disease spread. This includes educating people about healthy contact with bats, stressing deforestation’s role in disease spread, and, of course, testing bat populations for pathogens, sharing that information both locally and globally, and creating models which determine global risk of disease spillover.
All in all, bats play a disproportionate role in maintaining ecosystems we, and many other species, depend on. It’s important to consider all the good they do.

I think I’d be just as likely to eat a bat as a snail, and I’d be hungry and desperate to eat a bat. I don’t care how much of a delicacy snails are supposed to be, it ain’t ever gonna happen. Again, unless I was starving, and damn it all, I guess I could catch a snail but not a bat.

It appears that the civet cats in 2003 ate the bats and the virus mutated – they ate the civet cats. Ditto Wuhan, Chinese were saying that it appears to have passed thru the snakes that ate the bats and I know for a first-hand fact the Chinese eat snakes, they have restaurants that specialize in them, you can pick yours from a tank like you can lobsters here.

I have no firsthand knowledge of them eating bats but the sample wet-market menu the Chinese posted read, as I said. like the exhibit list at the San Diego Zoo, so it wouldn’t surprise me one bit to find bat in the fresh food section too.

I am watching Airplane II: the Sequel. It is about as unPC as you could get. However, I did notice that they included some funny scenes that are now reality. One is where an elderly woman walks through a screener and they stop and frisk the old lady, while 4 S. American guerillas carrying all kinds of guns go through the screener unnoticed. which is happening now. Also, there is a screener that shows the women coming through naked. Gee, we have that now, too.
