Morning all. We are getting awful storms, lots of rain, thunder, and lightening and the dogs are going bonkers. All but knocking down doors. So much for sleep in this house.

nner View Of The E-4B Nightwatch, AKA The Doomsday Plane
Gung Ho Vids – Published on Jan 13, 2020

The U.S. Air Force E-4B “Nightwatch” plane (aka Doomsday Plane) is designed to ensure continuity of government in the event of a surprise nuclear attack on the United States. In case of attack, the President, Vice President, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff would board the E-4B at a secret location to assume control of the remaining American nuclear forces. The E-4B would then fly a top-secret route, and could stay in the air for days with the assistance of aerial refueling tankers. The E-4B is reinforced against the effects of electromagnetic pulse (EMP), so its command and control communications, theoretically would not be cut off by incoming nuclear explosions. Filmed December 2019. Film Credits: Video by Kevin Schwandt, 55th Wing Public Affairs

😯 It just started pouring rain. I thought I heard something a little while ago, but couldn’t figure out what it was. Then it started pouring. I hope we got at least a half inch, but I doubt we did.
