Vice President Pence’s office pushed back on Sondland’s testimony Wednesday that he raised concerns that aid for Ukraine had become tied to Trump’s desire for investigations.
“The Vice President never had a conversation with Gordon Sondland about investigating the Bidens, Burisma, or the conditional release of financial aid to Ukraine based upon potential investigations,” Pence’s chief of staff, Marc Short, said in a statement
Sondland said in his opening statement that he brought up the issue during a Sept. 1 meeting with Pence in Warsaw. However, Short denied the exchange ever took place.
“Multiple witnesses have testified under oath that Vice President Pence never raised Hunter Biden, former Vice President Joe Biden, Crowdstrike, Burisma, or investigations in any conversation with Ukrainians or President Zelensky before, during, or after the September 1 meeting in Poland,” Short said.

I read a short while back that the DemoKKKrats plan is to remove not only Trump but Pence also so Pelosi is next in line for the WH
How scary is that?

I’ll take V. P. Pence’s word over Sondland’s any day. A lot of people are making the unfounded, you know–without evidence–accusation that Mike Pence is part of the coup. Sounds more than a little to me that the accusation comes from a lefty trying to act like an outraged righty in hopes of planting doubts to cause dissension and calls for his ouster.
As I’ve said before, I do think Pence has had some questionable people working for him, and that he is far too trusting of people in the other camp and perhaps didn’t vet folks properly. He should know better since he’s been in Washington, DC before. But that certainly doesn’t mean he’s in on the coup.
Question, how is it legal for a House Speaker to call for the impeachment of a President when she’ll personally benefit if he and the V.P. are removed? Like major conflict of interest, maybe?
