I am disappointed in Chick Fil A. I also don’t understand the reasoning. Half a brain would tell you there is no gain to be had from the alphabet crowd and a lot to lose with loyal customers.

Let’s see, first , now that they have gotten Chik-fil-a to stop supporting some Christian organizations, they want them to make their workplace rules wrap around the LGBTQ community as well as speak out and say they were wrong to believe that a marriage is between and man and a woman. Next, they will want rainbow flags and gay looking uniforms. Hey, and why not insist that all the servers be trans people of some sort.

Word is the two jail workers were offered a plea before they were arrested but turned it down. Speculation is that the deal included an honest allocution. Wonder if they’re having pucker factor on the possibility of being sent to the same jail Epstein was ‘offed’ in or, worse yet for life expectancy, cells in Rikers?
I’d posted it next door but can’t recall if I did here but in regard to the Army officer whistleblower, he’s part of a breed. Not a whistleblower breed but a breed of officers starting with promotable Majors who choose to get into a real political, not a military-political, track in DC.
U’all remember Ollie North, another LTC in the NSC? There are senior staff officers scattered throughout the Beltway, from the Executive branch to coveted positions inside of Senators’ offices, it’s plum duty. You get assigned to a high political position and your career is on a greased track – as long as you don’t screw up. I’m betting someone in the Senate is covering hid 6, as a LTC he’s far from bulletproof and as a whistleblower he’s embarrassed several segments of DoD so in the Mean Green world his career would be toast. I’m betting he may see full colonel…maybe…before retirement and a cushy job
