A suspect was in custody and being treated at a local hospital after a Thursday morning shooting that injured several people at Saugus High School, including two males and a female who were reportedly in critical condition, officials said.

Mmmm, immigrant or born citizen? Obviously, violent people come from every ethnic group. But, frankly, it’s rather rare in L.A. (or it was) to hear of an Asian involved in open violence except for the first generation American-born Vietnamese.
Things have changed so very much since I left in 2008. Looks like I got out just in time.
