Annnnnd the saga of the oven goes on.

You may remember that we went through the holidays last year thru March this year while our home warranty company and GE went thru an endless series of…complications. Finally the warranty company just relented and replaced the stack ovens with a new set, the ‘son’ of the ones we had. They lasted until about 6 weeks ago and – poof – the electronic control module went – poof.

They were under warranty so GE contacted their local contract repair person who came out, pronounced the entire control panel and the electronics in the front panel as d-e-a-d. He contacted GE and they sent a new front panel and a control module -problem is they sent the mounting panel without the electronics and the front panel was broken in shipment.

GE tries to get ahold of the repairman only to find he’s taken another job and won’t return our phone calls or theirs. After a week of haggling with GE we came up with the plan that they’d send me the parts, I’d find a licensed repairman to replace them and they’d reimburse me for his charges. So they start sending me the correct items only to have the Asian answering person finally realize that they’d have to send me the control parts, some dozen modules, and someone would have to build the panel like a LEGO set. That wasn’t going to happen, the service agencies didn’t want to touch it.

I finally got in touch with a US corporate person who was amazed at what we’d gone thru, the process was for the repairman to find the faulty unit and replace it, not just toss out the entire panel. The corporate entity was apologetic for the problem and is sending us an upgraded brand new set, installing them and hauling off the 2nd over set in a year to go – poof. All for free. Let’s see how this will play out..,.

Yeah, right, and what makes you think the dog wood cooperate? With ours I’d still need to put a tarpon the patio, they seem to carry about 4 ounces in their mouths and drip it from bowl to wherever. Another great reason for industrial strength tile floors.

We had a rottweiler who would drink all the water in the bowl right after I filled it. Then he would carry it around. So we got a steel bowl with a flared edge thinking he wouldn’t like having it in his teeth. Uh, no. He did the same with it.

Lucky must have had pockets in his cheeks,he could carry about a pint of water in his mouth and leave a trail a frog could live in.

Daisy used to do your rottie’s water thing with the food, she’d eat it all so that no one else would have any. She’s still food-dominant but is too old to do much but make a representation.

Daisy (the border collie mix) eats, or tries to eat EVERYONE’S food. She’d eat our too, given the opening. Lucky was our pit bull, sweetest dog I’ve ever had but he could drool dry air. I kept on waiting for Greenpeace to mount a ‘Lucky Watching’ tour to watch him drink and spout.

My big male lab just inhaled his food. The plan was to empty his bowl and get everybody elses’. So, I had to feed the four dogs in separate rooms. Then, I stood guard and he wouldn’t step out of his room because he knew he would be in big trouble.

Ugh…doctor appointment this PM. I dread using the Big Box Medical Inc, it’s the medical equivalent of a Mickey D’s drive-through and has all of the personalization of Wally World’s produce section. Marcus Welby’s dead and buried.

My non-Doctor Big Box docs have given up trying to get my information from them to my Primary Care Physician at Big Box, one even tried sending it personally from his office to my PCP only to have it, as the other, disappear from their contractor medical record’s in-basket. I’m down to getting paper copies of any tests the outside physicians do and physically taking them to my PCP’s office and handing them to his receptionist. This works better since I wrote a letter to Big Box corp’s CEO explaining that this has been going on for years and my lawyer suggests that if it continues I should take them to his office and he’ll send them certified, directly to the CEO. It’s a drag.

I keep Big Box as their main campus’ center is a super place with great docs/facilities but is over 75 miles away. They’ve been buying up all of the outlying hospitals they can and are still trying to wrangle this one into shape but for many reasons it ain’t easy. I vet my doctors, I just don’t take whoever Big Box throws at me. In my vetting I’ve had Big Box employees recommend doctors outside of the system and when folks who work with the Big Box recommend docs outside of the system you listen. This doesn’t make Big Box happy and I have no doubt that a good part of the inability to get outside records into my internal records is a form of active-passive resistance. Then again they’ve ‘misplaced’ tests they’ve ordered from outside contractors who offer services they don’t.

Oh well, the struggle keeps me active and involved so I know that if I go in for a blood test and they start prepping me for a kidney transplant something’s amiss. Onward and upward…

A conversation about abortion with my Uber driver

With a client list that includes some of Hollywood’s biggest motion picture studios, the 30-something Uber driver who gave me a ride home from a doctor’s appointment searches out locations to shoot scenes for feature-length films and other video productions.

BREAKING: Judge rules dad will have say in gender ‘transition’ of 7-year-old

    https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/judge-rules-dad-will-have-say-in-gender-transition-of-7-year-old

DALLAS, Texas, October 24, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – The judge presiding over the case of Jeffrey Younger, the father who is trying to protect his seven-year-old son, James, from chemical castration via a gender “transition,” ruled today that the parents will have joint conservatorship over James, which includes making joint medical decisions for the child.

Judge Kim Cooks of the 255th district also put a gag order on both parents so that they cannot speak to the press about the case and decided that the father is not required to pay attorney fees. The judge’s decision means that the Save James website will have to be shut down.

The good news James is temporary saved from the woman who is supposed to be his mother’s insanity.

Also Dr. Anne Georgulas/mother of James can no longer discuss her desire to castrate her son or in any other way mutilate him publicly and she just may crawl back t hell since she will not be getting publicity and love from degenerates.

The bad news as part of the gag order Jame’s father may no longer publicly discuss his fight to save his son from mutilation at the hands of Dr. Georgulas/Mother.

If that was my boy, we’d disappear. Georgulas appears to be a dangerously agenda driven lunatic.

Not the best of outcomes–best being removal from that crazed, sick-o mother’s custody along with the other son–but better than ordering the father to stay out of life-altering decisions for his little boy.

Was that judge the one who ordered a transgender apologist to interview the boy and give his recommendations in the first place? If so, I wonder if the Texas Attorney General’s office was in contact with the judge and “helped” her to reconsider her near-advocacy of the mother’s right to castrate her son.

Usually nothing makes me madder than parents who abduct their children from the other parent, but in this case I’d have to make an exception.

Here’s an idea: If a person isn’t old enough to legally drink, they’re not old enough to change their gender regardless of what their sicko parent believes. I don’t believe for two second this was the kid’s idea, Mommy’s the sicko who started it, enrolling him as a girl since kindergarten. No wonder he’s confused. His mother has been confusing him right out of the gate.

Hollywood only wishes they could film scenes like that. God bless that woman for her quick action. I think the video makes it pretty clear that could have been a triple homicide if she hadn’t driven in front of the drunk.

Our Heavenly Father, Your children come to you tonight to ask for healing and peace throughout our country so that we may return to being One Nation Under God. Guide us to be leaders in Your Kingdom, spreading Your Love and Salvation to all. Forgive us our sins and deliver us from evil.

Lord, we ask for a blanket of protection over all our troops and law enforcement who serve to defend and protect us. Bless our representatives with the strength and wisdom they need to achieve the path You have chosen for us.

Please place Your Guardian Angels of Protection around Donald Trump and Mike Pence and their families as they seek to lead America back to You.

Grant us patience, Lord, as the evil ones try to anger us and cause us to fall.
Spread blessings over Israel and Netanyahu.

We humbly ask that You please comfort those who are grieving and in pain.
Thank you Father, for Your Love and the gift of Life.

In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
