HHS Sec Alex Azar explicates the Pres’s EO today with Maria B 8:02
This appears to be about Medicare Advantage, but imo is another wall for the Socialist democrats and their Medicare-For-All death sentence.

I have Medicare Advantage, and am pleasantly surprised by what is covered, considering my recent medical emergency and new prescription drugs. General hospital charges (full price) were 63,441.94. My payment is $565. Hospital professional services full price were 4,475.00. My payment is zero.

Have you gotten the bill for the ambulance? I am curious about that cost.

Not yet. I do have coverage for ambulance, so I have no idea what it will cost me. It was the city ambulance that responded.

I like my Advantage plan for everyday things. I don’t pay any copays unless I go to a specialist. And, my doctor is in a group that has an Urgent Care. It doesn’t cost anything if I go there. But, if I have the same situation you had, and I could, I am not sure what they would cover.

It cost me a $50 copay for my cardiologist visit last week.

And it was worth every penny, no matter the cost – you are still here!

Actually – as the President pointed out in his speech about Medicare – my premium reduced significantly the beginning of this year. I hadn’t used my insurance much, so I had no idea what the bill would be. Very pleased!
