Today’s Twitter bits …

The main point.

More evidence of the squelching of political opinion by social media.

That would be good.

Yes.

Hmmm …

Sundance is right.

That’s what I would do.

Bastard.

Good question.

Amazing.

I think what amazed me the most is that these students didn’t recognize photos of Hitler and Stalin. Incredibly ignorant.

Once in a while, Bill Maher makes sense.

I suppose “that’s different”.

I don’t know where this is, but it sure is pretty!

Charlie’s prayer.

Have a great day!

Wow. “Bloomberg become an apologist/propagandist for Beijing.” He must be raking in some serious bucks from there. 😯

Jake Tapper is just a drut. Oops, spelled it backwards.

“didn’t recognize photos of Hitler and Stalin. Incredibly ignorant.” SMH I could understand if these were 4th graders. But, this is college.

By 4th grade I was already well into my historical data mode, eventually filling up 10 scrapbooks of newspaper/magazine articles on historical persons and incidents, wars, you name it. I definitely knew who Hitler was by 3rd grade, actually. Yeah, I was sort of a strange kid.

LOL! As the song goes, “I know a little bit about a lot of things.” A friend once said to me–in the days the TRIVIA game was a staple at parties–that I missed my calling. My answer was, “Yeah, except I could never quite figure out what that calling was.” Hahaha!

Re Chuck Grassley’s question on rule changes and political motivation…it’s called abuse of power. What are you going to do about it, Chuck?

Went over to the CTH and touched the flypaper. Someone over there posted that Rush (remember him from the Dark Ages?) was talking about how Mitt Romney’s going around saying that if the House sent articles of impeachment to the Senate on Monday enough Republican Senators would break ranks to convict Trump.

I found an earlier quote from a Romney/McCain flea saying that an unnamed Republican Senator told him in secret that 30 Republican Senators were about to break ranks and vote for conviction. Seems that the rumor might have originated in the Romney Clam Chowder, Fellowship and Revenge camp. Don’t know about y’all but I don’t see half or more of the Republican Senators risking their seats at the feed trough by doing so. Even if they did break ranks does any of them believe that when the Rats take power they’ll let any Republicans, especially turncoats, stay in office?

Re: Twitter – Jimmy Dore, raging Socialist Progressive, also reports Twitter has initiated a mute button, where a Twitter user may hide any or all replies.
Iow, one may now allow seeing only those tweets that agree with your POV, and no dissenting tweets to your tweet will ever be seen, by anyone.
