This is fascinating. Good news is that (at least at the time of this interview) the storm is weakening.

    I was on a plane flying to Upstate New York, I guess it was, when a hurricane was out in the Atlantic off the coastline. It was cool and a little scary to see it from that angle. We were just a little above it and well out of range to be affected by it too much. I remember it was a little rough. But, the pictures at the end of this is similar to what I saw that day.
