Andy McCarthy on Comey IG report: Why leak government records?

This is a good question. Perhaps he was shielding himself, attempting to cover his tracks, knowing that leaking FBI correspondence once he had left the FBI was definitely wrong, and possibly illegal. It would also look like sour grapes (which it was), slapping back at the President for losing his job.

    Comey was disgraced and if he has nothing to lose. Once fired, he became a hero for the Left and receives many invitations to the best parties.
