Kirsten Gillibrand Drops Presidential Bid

US NEWS & WORLD REPORT

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York is withdrawing from the race for the Democratic nomination for president, the lawmaker said Wednesday after failing to qualify for the third debate next month.

Gillibrand, 52, told The New York Times she will endorse another candidate during the primary and will back the eventual Democratic nominee.
