Yes, I have heard them discussing it and their arguments are pretty funny, actually. They talk as if ALL illegal aliens are asylum seekers.

The really funny thing is that this has been law for 140 years. Trump admin is just going to enforce it.

Oh, but it’s so out-of-date, like the Constitution!! (Sarc, of course.)

Not planning at first to watch the Q&A, I’m glad I stuck through it. He did excellently…informed, calm and unflappable, which is in contrast to his 2016 Republican National Convention demeanor where he got a tad histrionic.
Cuccinelli seems to be an example of how President Trump works and handles people. How many employers would later hire someone who had dissed not only him and his character, but his ideas, abilities, plans and programs? Not many, I’d wager. Looks like our President recognized Cuccinelli’s capabilities and considered his tenacity to be a good thing, believing he could work with someone who had not been a fan in previous years.
Perhaps once Cuccinelli observed President Trump in action, his perceptions were revised and he gained confidence that the U.S. was in better hands than he expected. At this point I’m happy to give him the benefit-of-the-doubt.
