    Probably a silly question but if we’re looking at removing carbon from the atmosphere why isn’t the government pushing and subsidizing planting trees? The 21st century housing tract norm seems to be a bare lot with one spindly, cheap FHA-mandatory tree. If we could get yards and open spaces planted in hardwood native trees a number of issues would be easily be addressed but so far nada.
