Fireworks Display
9:07 p.m., National Mall & Neighboring Parks
Independence Day culminates with a spectacular fireworks display launched from West Potomac Park and behind the Lincoln Memorial which will be visible from many locations throughout D.C. and Northern Virginia. The fireworks will be canceled in case of heavy rain, thunderstorms or high winds.

Not really seeing it but I hope this tradition in DC carries on. I’m old enough to remember when you used to have military parades on the 4th but then along came Vietnam and the MSM’s relentless ‘military as baby killers’ dialogue. Sorta ended that except for smaller towns and cities.
Still confuses me how, to the MSM and progs, military as baby killers is so horrible while abortion doctors (‘first, do no harm’) are heroes????

I’m not ruling out anything. I remember them from the Rex Hotel in Saigon – VC never hit it because the American press was so valuable to selling the Communist cause in the US and helping, from time to time, the VC/NVA to kill American military.
I won’t get into their lies and just-short-of-criminal behavior when dealing with the police.

I suspect most of them, and that means , all of the presidential hopefuls, had rebuttal speeches pre-written, they were all sure it was going to be a campaign speech and then President Trump pulled the football out once again and hilarity ensued!
Every stinking time he gets them and it’s hilarious.
