As many of us suspected (and hoped), the person who will be replacing Sarah Sanders is the First Lady’s Press Secretary, Stephanie Grisham.

I believe she is the right person for the job. She is loyal to the President and First Lady, and has served the Trump family in one capacity or another since 2015. She joined as a press aide to the Trump campaign, and acted as candidate Trump’s traveling press secretary. Grisham became deputy press secretary in 2017 under Sean Spicer, but shortly after, she joined First Lady Melania Trump in the East Wing.

Grisham has been described by several people who had worked with her previously as being highly competent and self-aware. Reportedly President Trump was sorry to lose her to the East Wing, so I’m sure he is happy to have her back!
