I miss good Italian food. There was a place we would go when I was little, In Beaumont, that had the best Italian food, I can’t remember the name of it anymore and it’s been closed for years. I’ve never had it’s equal. It was the real deal.

I used to wait outside of their construction to ask how soon it would open – that was about 121 years ago – and now he and his partner are going to open a new shop. It’s a small city and it doesn’t have gourmet but we do have great food food.

This reminds me of when my beautiful alabaster freckleless skinned DIL visited me in FL and we went to the Gulf. She went out in the water and I was concerned, because of shark sightings at the time, about keeping an eye on her. It turned out to not be a problem. She looked pretty much like the middle guy and the other 30 or so people she was in the water with looked like the other two. LOL

So this came across my phone.

Turns out someone fired on police and is barricaded in his mini van on the freeway about 10 miles from here.
7 miles of freeway closed.
I have never seen this particular alert before.

Right? Cat is still barricaded in his van. Local news is nuts as in useless.
Breathless nutcase reporter saying an officer “walked up to the van” and threw something on the ground “Perhaps a jacket” 😏.
No idea what they’ll do to get him out. I clearly heard 2 gunshots in some video that an observer captured. They could just remotely break the windows of the van out and toss in some goodies but apparently it is unknown if he has a hostage or not.
