Rosemary is a very pungent woody herb with the scent of evergreens. It is delicious in meat dishes like lamb and roast beef and steak, particularly paired with garlic.

    A good nite for news. I had forgotten all about this incident, when I first heard about it many years ago, the story was that they’d play a game with the core, quickly pulling out then as quickly replacing a rod to make the core ‘burp’, a sound resulting from the gas forming due to the heat. For whatever reason the guy had his hand on the rod, it must have been serious as they’re told that’s a supreme no-no, when the rod blew out. We were told the rod impaled him on the room’s roof.

    By a FB friend this morning:

    Heel-biting appears to be our newest national plague. Politics has always been flypaper for fanatics, egotists, and assorted wackos, but the recent outbreak seems to exceed historic standards. Hillary Clinton can’t admit defeat. She could put this misery to rest with a single speech by saying, “Okay — we gave it the old college try, and used up a bag of tricks trying to reverse the election results, but now we should give my opponent a chance to govern.”

    Stacey Abrams is mimicking the same tactics in Georgia. I was robbed. My opponent’s a cheat. Etc. Barack Obama, instead of retiring to a farm or the college lecture circuit, bought another home in Washington and is still pulling puppet strings.

    Harry Truman HATED Dwight Eisenhower, but he didn’t spend the rest of his life trying to undermine him. Harry had better things to do. Thomas Jefferson loved turning the wheels of power for forty years, but after his second term ended, he moved back to Charlottesville and never set foot in Washington again. Jimmy Carter shoots his mouth off every so often, but for the most part has found a useful second & third career after politics.

    Nancy Pelosi is the Speaker of the House, but she’s so old & rickety she can barely talk. Bernie Sanders has been a retread clown act for the last 20 years.

    What gives? Is the thrill of seeing yourself on TV so irresistible? Even after you’ve become a sourpuss, doddering parody of yourself?

      These were my thoughts re: Mueller. I don’t think Mueller had a clue what was in the Mueller Dossier, nor what was behind it, which is why Mueller refused to testify.
      These cretins have received accolades and homage for so long they think it is their due. They will do anything, except actual work, to continue the attention. The younger ones never did do a lick of work in their lives, and have no idea how to start.

      Rosemary is an excellent herb combined with tarragon for baked or fried chicken. (don’t tell anyone, but i really do know how to cook, and cook well. ever heard of freshly-pulled sliced carrots sautéed in bacon (preferably shoat) pieces and bacon fat…)

    Hey stellars……..just came to make a comment here for those who might spent some time xt door…..

    patrickhenrycensored…..now due to UncleWP and his new update…..is now posting as PHC…..is about to make his final decision.

    He’s been dealing with cancer, for who knows really how long,( FYI). A couple-three months ago, he told us it was in his spine. So, strong meds at home were not quite cutting the pain, as he continued to post less.

    He is now to the point of making a decision, at what point in possibly the next few days, to apparently go into a Hospice Facility of some type. He says they have Internet…..but, depending on his medication which will cut pain, but tend to increase drowsiness.. so he may or may not be commenting, or even reading at some point soon.

    Last evening, he showed up interacting….and said, he would be there tonight also.

    So….if there is anyone, who wishes to say good-bye from his internet-blog-extended family…..today-tonight would probably be the time to do so.

      Over the years Patrick has always been a supportive poster. Because of my not reading most of the posts at CTH Daily or Presidential threads anymore except to respond to anyone who might be addressing me, I missed his posts about being ill. It was quite a surprise to read that he is planning on going into a hospice and that the pain meds will render him mostly incapable of participating in his usual way.

      Pain is such a stinking, awful thing. I know that being believers in God doesn’t exempt us from the laws of nature. We don’t get passes on ailments or trials or heavy challenges to the psyche. I also know that how we bear all these things is important. But there are days when I just want to rage…dang it…there’s a mess over in aisle 12 and would You just please clean it up already!!!

      Oh, Lord, please make Patrick’s final days on this earth as easy to bear as possible. Give him spiritual comfort and confidence that when he crosses over, he will see You face to face. May it be the same for all of us.

    This guy is interesting to follow. He analyzes legal issues in the news, including in the USA. He is an attorney in Canada. He is very even handed, and explains why he comes to the conclusions that he does.
