The Mark Steyn Show with George Papadopoulos, part one

The first of a special two-part edition of The Mark Steyn Show in which Mark talks with George Papadopoulos, the first Trump campaign member to plead “guilty” in the Mueller investigation. Mr Papadopoulos has set down his account of what happened these last four years of his life in a new book called Deep State Target – about how a Beltway think-tank wonk was set up as the “mark” of multiple high-level well-connected figures from America, Britain, Italy, Australia and elsewhere. With yesterday’s appointment of a new prosecutor, John Durham, to investigate the origins of the FBI’s “Crossfire Hurricane” (the “counter-intelligence” operation that targeted Trump campaign staffers) the Papadopoulos story is more relevant than ever.

    I fear that this investigation, even if it does gain traction, will die a quiet death (as will many of us) if Trump doesn’t win in 2020. Look how long it took the FBI’s coup-lite investigation to be found groundless, and that’s WITH the Leftist’s support. Now think the good guys trying to get an investigation thru the system fighting against the wind. All they gotta do, and they’re an expert at it, is obfuscate and delay until COB on 3 November 2020.

    I’m listening to the vid right now. Steyn is an excellent interviewer, making intelligent comments along the way as a good conversationalist should and letting his guests talk without unnecessary interruptions. Papadopoulos is intelligent and well spoken. I love that he’s front and center on taking his life back.
