The “Amish” garb (Amish women would never dress in red) are costumes from the fictional story “Handmaid’s Tale”. That story is about women who are sex slaves who are forced to bear children for their masters (at least that’s what I’ve been told; I’ve never read the book or watched the tv show.)

Re the Alabama “heartbeat” bill…good on them! The coat hanger signs created by anti-life minions never acknowledge the many deaths of mothers at the hands of legal abortionists. Any restriction whatsoever on abortion is completely unjustified in their minds. The same people who demand restaurant food safety regulations couldn’t care less that many abortion mills are filthy with blood or body secretions on the walls and instruments, or baby parts in jars. They don’t really care about the mothers or their physical or mental health. Just viewing the pro-abortion women and hearing them speak shows how lost and spiritually hopeless they are, with many in need of psychiatric care. Sad.

I mentioned the legal abortion deaths and complications in a Twitter thread today. I reminded the male commenting about the dangers of illegal abortion that abortion (legal or not) is a medical procedure, not teeth whitening.

Glad you’re engaging folk on the dangers of removing a baby from the womb. We know that veterinarians take better care of pregnant cats and dogs that many abortionists do of human females.

He seems to think if the bill goes to SCOTUS it will lose and make it harder for the next bill to be successful. He may be right but I still believe it’s a good start…certainly better than doing nothing.
