    Good morning folks, miss all of you.

    I’ve been taking a break and getting some wind back in my sails, having my sweet old dog pass in my arms after my dad’s sudden passing was just overwhelming.

    I hope all is well with everyone and will be back posting more soon.

    I’ve also had a busy week of volunteering which is a good thing because between that and work I have been forced to get outside myself.

    Thank you all for your kind words over the past month and a half 🙏🏼❤️.

    We gots a big rainstorm acomin’ so I went outside to bring my cucumber starts in. Directly overhead are white, high altitude clouds with random white fluffy ones running slowly underneath.

    You move to the horizon and the white turns to an increasingly darker shade of grey to where about 15-degrees off the horizon it’s a slate grey with a jet black line down to the horizon. The light is such that the grass all looks a yellow green and the lake is glass smooth. We’re gonna get hit.

        It’s here – heavy rain (enough to knock out low-def satellite TV) with some wind. Luckily it’s moving fast, about 35 MPH (56 KPH for those in Canada or Mexico) and there’s lightening so we get some free nitrogen fertilizer.

          We got about the same thing where I live in South Texas. We got an inch of rain. Electricity flickered twice that I know of.

            It shot thru at about 35 mph, dumped 1.7″ in about an hour. For some reason it hit the state line about ten miles west of us and broke up a bit or it would have been wetterer. My son in Dallas has been getting whacked for days now.

    Ahhhhh…just ate the first Barbados cherries off of my bush I’ve been growing for about 6 years. I grew it from seeds a friend sent me, used to eat them all of the time in Florida but winters here will kill them. It gets put into the garage during cold snaps and otherwise gets babied.

    I love them, Czarina hates them…MINE! MINE! ALL MINE!!!!!! Bwaaa haaa haaa….
