Louie Gohmert on the House Floor: “It’s a Very Critical Time”

Representative Louie Gohmert (TX01) spoke on the House Floor about the different abuses that have been seen within the intelligence community. He boldly stated, “If we don’t clamp down on what we see are clear abuses within the DOJ, within the intelligence community, with the FISA courts, then…the abuses will allow the rising of a Chavez, of these people who got elected and turned totalitarian.”

    This was one of Rep Gohmert’s more detailed and precise speeches. imo Thank you for posting it, Stella. One had to laugh, though, that Rep Gohmert was surprised and shocked by these events when we have known about them for years. Kinda sad, actually.

    Too bad no one heard Rep Gohmert’s speech except the House transcriber and us. Rep Gohmert should give this speech again and again, to as many people as possible.

    In hopeful news, Rep Amash introduced a bill yesterday to end NSA data collection. No, it will never pass, but the bill may garner a few more people’s attention.
