‘If sex is construed to mean “gender identity”, what that means is nearly all sex-segregated spaces – colleges, sports, dormitories – and women’s rights in general will utterly disappear,’ she claimed.
‘It is not possible to both enshrine gender identity in civil rights law and protect women and girls as a distinct legal category.’
Nancy Pelosi is in favor of such legislation. It makes you go hmmmmmmm.
Rep Nancy Pelosi has stated that passing the act will be a priority in the Democrat-controlled House this year.

Yeah, a former boss pulled that on me one time when I questioned his use of made up words, which frustrated my attempts to understand him.

Ha! Nah, he became former when corporate political control of our software development group went to the U.K. and they shut us down.
We’re still friends, and have a great deal of respect for each other. He’s a brilliant man, and I learned a lot from him, but he could be overbearing at times.
I watched him berate one of our top software engineers in a public bar once. That engineer was of Japanese ancestry, and my boss was shouting purple-faced, veins in the neck standing out, that his entire project was worthless, the guy had never shipped any product, he had disgraced himself and should go out right now and commit seppuku, the Japanese ritual self disembowelment. The engineer, who later formed his own successful software company, just sat there smoking his cigarette, smiling, enjoying the show. Everyone knew my boss was, um, a real character.
