   Latest White House Pool Report (President and Mrs. Trump are in Pittsburgh to help console the families:

   Subject: Travel pool report 5

   Trump and family left the synagogue at 1700 after about 20 mins inside.

   POTUS walked alongside FLOTUS and together they placed a white flower and small stone on each star erected in memory of the 11 dead at the makeshift memorial outside the Tree of Life.

   The rabbi accompanied them and spoke at each stop, explaining and gesturing at the star. The three of them were alone for several minutes during this ceremony.

   Ivanka and Jared followed at a short distance, also pausing at each star.

   While inside the synagogue, the first couple lit candles in honor of each of those killed, the White House said. They were in the vestibule but did not enter the crime scene area, the WH said.

   The occasion, witnessed by scores of journalists in a leafy residential street,was solemn. However cries of protesters from just beyond the cordon were audible, including “words have meaning,” and “no more hate.”

   Motorcade rolled at 1710.
