   This is in Auckland, New Zealand.

   Each year we honour NZ firefighters lost in the line of duty, as well as the 343 New York firefighters that died in the September 11 attacks.

   After a haka by firefighters, the names of all 343 firefighters from the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) and the names of New Zealand firefighters lost are read out. Each firefighter then carries a special tag with the name of a firefighter lost in the line of duty and dedicate their climb to the memory of that person.

   Only a few more hours until September 11th, aka ‘911’. Wonder if Barry’s finished his ‘Happy 17th Birthday and Hopefully Many More to Come’ party invitations? Since the PLO delegation doesn’t have anything to do any more maybe they’ll attend – they should still have a few ‘Death to Israel and the Great Satan’ banners they can bring. Huma can pole dance and Brennan can bring the halal snacks.
