Have a great day Sand. I went down for a visit with my parents yesterday. We had a very nice day, I’m blessed that they are still here and can’t even imagine that the day will come when they will be gone. I usually don’t get that heavy feeling of one day they’ll be gone but it really swept over me on this visit.
It looks like no cygnets this year.

Yesterday we saw a mother duck and about eight tiny ducklings trying to cross a very busy road near the mall. Bless their little hearts, they made it to the center median, but it was even busier on the other side. I sure hope they made it all the way. We were watching them with baited breath. Little cuties.

There was a small group of white ducks on my way home with a bunch of duckling right on the side of a two lane highway. I hope they stayed on their side.

Strange. Copy and paste, whether with Ctrl-C/V or with the mouse’s context menu, doesn’t work any more in Brave. Or with WordPress. Or with WordPress + Brave. Not sure where the problem lies, but for several days, there is no copy and paste function, at all. Tech progress is not progress.

There. How messed up is your HR department when your company can make Ctrl-C not work any more? I don’t know which company is responsible, but someone hired a complete idiot, who did something unprecedented in computer history, and hasn’t been fired, probably because they’re a trans with purple and orange hair and multiple ear-plugs — and you can’t fire one of those. How does one disable copy/paste in a Microsoft product? And why? Is it idiocy or maliciousness? Ctrl-C/X/V worked in the 80’s for crying out loud. It’s legacy. And some overpaid idiot made it not work.
I wonder whether Kate Spade or Chef Bourdain actually killed themselves, or were killed.

There was an online roleplaying game, where if you were in a different faction, allied with different people in alliances, all your online texting to each other would be encoded and scrambled when viewed by members of other factions. But it was a letter-replacement crypto, and LOL was viewed by another faction as KEK.

My mom used to record Bob Ross on VHS. She made a few good ones, too. I take after her. I get into crafts, get somewhat good at them, and then jump to another one.
There’s a Mr. Rogers movie, called “Won’t You Be My Neighbor”. How many documentaries come out in the actual theater? Nothing but rave reviews. That man was better than us. How much better? 4chan will permaban you if you rag on Fred Rogers.
He was so beyond reproach, as it were, that even the crazy people can’t rag on him.
Word has it that the movie had whole theaters crying.

Bob Ross videos are worth it. My mom did some paintings, using his techniques, and they came out real good. Expensive hobby, though, if you want all the tools, paints and solvents. Ross was also like Mr. Rogers. Good man. Happy little trees. The dude painted his freakin’ MIND onto a canvas, while explaining, calmly, how to do it.

When I visited my mother one summer, I found we had to watch Bob every day we were home at 1 o’clock. Neither she nor I ever painted anything, but we enjoyed him together & were always amazed that those little strokes turned into such pleasant pictures!

Kiddo had super hero day today. Had a few options. His choice was “American Patriot”. Flag tee, USA socks, camo shorts, and a mini Air Force 1. The only kid to think beyond cartoons in the class. Surprised me a lot.

My husband doesnt do much but 70s rock and certain bands from the 80s and 90s. Metal was fun. Now I dont even know what we have beyond pop/folk, rap, and straight pop.

The West hasn’t made (as far as I know), good metal since Dream Theater. Japan and Scandinavia make the best good metal now. South America, before Socialism made them sell all their guitars, amps, and drum kiits, made talented metal, but it was all evil metal. Not good metal.
