    Someone was apparently asleep on the diving board when the kid with the airhorn came by.

    We have two who’ll stand out in the rain and get soaked, apparently they didn’t get the memo.

      Roombas are a cute idea, but where does all the “stuff” it picks up go? We have two dogs and a Dyson bagless vacuum cleaner. The Alaskan husky is a shedding machine. One vacuuming of our 1500 sq. ft home requires at least 4 emptyings of the fairly large collection chamber. This little thing would explode before it finished a quarter of one room.

        That’s funny! Good question. It probably requires regular emptying. I don’t have pets, so it might work for me, but I’ve always wondered how they transition from the tile to carpet. That might be a challenge in my home.

          transition from tile to carpet is automatic with the iRoomba….works like a charm….but not a powerful enough vacuum to get deep dust everytime….will get ALL surface stuff up….worse thing he does not like is threads, string, and long tough people hair.

        Even Stella, my Brittany, shedded an impressive amount, and she was a single coat dog. I wonder the same thing.

        I have one. And two dogs, short haired dachs and long haired beast of an Australian Cattledog…both in door family members. Ausy does the most hair dump. The irobot does a fantastic job of hair and ducst pick up on hwardwood and hard surface floors. Yes, the bin fills up, and the machine stops for you to dum the hair and to shake out the filter too. Takes nothing to do either…and then he goes back to work…I shut him up with the doors closed in our bedroom where we all hand out toether….and he gets under the bed, under the curtains, under chairs and sofa…etc…..Is not a deep cleaning machine, as we use a Shark vacuum to do serious cleaning, but the iRoomba keeps the place clean enough without any big work until we decide to bite the bullet and do the big vacuum. I could not praise this thing enough. I actually take the Aussie outside and brush and back comb the undercoating and then vacuum him with a shot vac before shampooing him…..if I had a set of four legs, I get enough hair off of him each time to create another Aussie with the hair and legs alone. lol
