So am I. We’ve been listening to the state Chicken Littles running around screaming that the “Gulf’s acomin, the Gulf’s acomin'” for nearly 40 years As the coast erodes more and more, they squawk more and more. Areas we used to fish where there were miles of marsh to the Gulf are now open ocean all the way to South America. News has been doing stories about shorelines and islands disapoearing for decades and milliobs of dollars have been lost to the state mincing around and burning through funds gadterbthan the shores are disappearing.
State officials are in a feeding frenzy over the billions of dollars coming from the BP settlements, oil royalties and lease shares and -they hope – yet more Federal funds. Expect more studies, more sweetheart deals, more funds lost, stolen or disappeared and real estate brokers in Baton Rouge selling Ocean front lots by the end of the century.

Ummmm….gotta be photoshop. C17 wingspan is 170 feet, carrier deck at widest is about 250. Shortest landing dudtance I’ve seen is about 2600 feet while carrier deck’s around 1100, leaving a significant deficit. Next we have the issue of takeoff and the base weight of 470,000 pounds. I’m leaning towards photoshop.

Morning everyone. No pneumonia like Hillary, but we’ve had a virus that has made us all sick. Hubby was the first to get it and after playing nurse to him, I had to play nurse to my son who works with his Dad every day, my grandson and daughter caught it and of course son-in-law caught it from them. About the time everyone gets over it, I catch it. I think I’m about to get over it except for the cough that ends it, every part of my body hurts from coughing so much. I’m lucky though I’ve had no seizures like Hillary and haven’t had to be thrown into a van. 🙂

I feel better except for the coughing. I’m afraid it will linger for awhile, the rest of them are still coughing, including my husband who started it all.
I’m drinking hot tea with whiskey, honey and lemon every night, which at least is making me sleep through it. lol

Michellc, I was sick back in June and the cough was horrid. I haven’t bothered to used cough drops for 20 years because they never really seemed to do much good. But, when I had one of my really bad spells a friend offered me a Halls Breezer Cool Berry and it worked. Stopped the coughing instantly. You might give it a try.

I bought some cough drops and cough syrup today and they’re working some.
I’m not like my hubby, he won’t take anything, me when I’m sick I’ll take whatever drugs make me feel better. lol

I bought Halls, I’ll have to look again and see what kind and I also bought Ricola.
I had a lady at the drug store tell me today that she caught this crap 3 weeks ago and still has a cough. I don’t think my ribs can handle 3 weeks of coughing.
Doctor prescribed her cough medicine with codeine, but I can’t handle codeine.

I woke up this morning and my ribs, back, shoulders and stomach hurt really bad.
I’m hoping it will be better tonight. I’ve taken some cough syrup that is supposed to last for 12 hours, I guess we’ll see.

Well, how did we get to the middle of September so quickly?
Starting to feel like Fall, especially at night. I ran across this from a FB post seven years ago:

Trump has two events today – a rally in Des Moines, IA at noon (CT), and an event in Aston, PA this evening (7:30) that is closed to the public.

This year is flying by. In some ways that’s good because I want the presidential race to come to its conclusion, but in other ways it’s a bit sad. My grandson is almost eight months old and has begun crawling. I was playing with him yesterday thinking that he was just born in January and he’s gone from helpless newborn to a clapping, waving, crawling, and laughing little boy. It’s both precious and a bit melancholic that his babyhood is going by so quickly.
Great FB post! I love poetry that uses imagery to give you a sensory experience so that you can “feel” what the writer is expressing.

Good morning Stella, great pic, looks almost surfable, save for the landing. Ouch.
Still warm out here, was a comfortable last 103 Friday night as I watched my daughter cheerleading at her high school football game. Today a high of 84 then back to the high 90’s by the weekend. Good for golf, the ball carries well. Have a great day.

We actually have freeze warnings the next two nights. Yesterday was about 65 degrees during the day with 30mph winds. it was not nice. More fires the last two days, but none near me. We desperately need RAIN!!!

My 77 year old mom exerts herself in the garden with more energy on a daily basis than the sleepy, hacking, fainting, crumpling, lazy-eyed, weak kneed, chest clasping, puffy faced, spastic, head bobbling, sufferer of intermittent freezing episodes, shoe losing, Hillary puts out campaigning in an entire month.

So sorry it’s been so challenging for over-the-Hillary! Poor girl! She really should just admit she’s in poor health and drop out. Of course she will never do that. She has has such great judgement too… with exposing her grandchildren, the little actress, and the public to her nasty funk. Yep… that’s who I want running the country.

Wow! Good find, lovely. Too bad she has no conscience as the loss of her supposed good friend Chris Stevens should cause her heartache. Bill stated in an interview Hill survived 11 grueling hours of testimony in the Benghazi hearings and she stated last week how proud she was of Lybia and not losing anyone there. Did her concussion make her forget the entire event?

I saw that yesterday. It was a medical clinic at one time. The building was converted to condos some time back. it is possible that some of the equipment remains. Apparently the owner of said medical clinic has this to the Clinton’s. Go figure.

Just saw Greta Van Susteren in her daily live Facebook broadcast, which she is doing from her home. It’s fun, because she is doing her own broadcast, and things are still a bit rough!
She’s writing a book on social media, so she talked a bit about that. She’s going to Liberia next week, and hopes to be able to interview the President, who is a 77 year old woman. Greta also reported on her orphanage in Haiti, and what a mess that country is.
I don’t always agree with her, but I think Greta is an honest and kind woman; she has worked numerous times with the Revs. Graham, and Samaritan’s Purse. If you are interested in following her, her Facebook page:

I agree that Greta is an honest and kind woman. There are things about her that annoy me sometimes, but overall she is one of the few that I felt was a real reporter. I hope this change for her turns into something really good. I will always give her credit for putting the effort into helping Sgt. Tamorissi.

Christine Falvo was a senior adviser at Foggy Bottom from July 2009 until January 2010, when Hillary was secretary of state, and also served as a special assistant to the Democratic nominee from 2001 to 2007, when Clinton was New York’s junior senator.
Sources said Falvo was working as a volunteer advance person for Clinton at the 9/11 event.

NSA’s now voicing concern that US November elections may be hacked by Russian hackers. Well, if anyone knows about hacking illegally into US IT systems it’s the Meade spooks so I’ll accede to their concerns.
Interesting how Hellary and her krewe’s been trying to tie Trump to Putin for months now…gee, am I seeing a pattern developing here? Were she to lose could we see her filing court briefs that she should be awarded the crown as unnamed, unidentified Russian hackers broke into the computers at polling places and jiggered the results? What better way for the Russians to foil Soro’s plans?
