There are/is too much drama outside the classroom. Much is self inflicted between parents/school district, and those looking for attention. Education is the one issue, local, state, and national that needs serious re tooling. Look what the taxpayers of the US got when Obola gave PA 1 Billion $$$$$. 400 million went to Philadelphia City/County in school funding. Okay off my soap box…….

Obama defends Kaepernick’s national anthem protest
http://nypost.com/2016/09/05/obama-defends-kaepernicks-national-anthem-protest/
The president added, “I don’t doubt his sincerity. I think he cares about some real, legitimate issues that have to be talked about. And if nothing else, he’s generated some conversation around some topics that need to be talked about it.”
But the president said: “Maybe some of his critics will start seeing he has a point around certain concerns around justice and equality.”

This Guy Documented His First Week Of Work At Target & It’s Hilarious
http://www.refinery29.com/2016/09/122002/target-first-work-week-documentation
If you’ve ever worked a retail job in any capacity, you know it can be a bit of a mixed bag. People can be rude and weird, but they can also be kind and funny. An added bonus is that surprisingly entertaining events go down more than you’d expect when you work a job like this. You just have to be open to seeing the humor in it all.

I do too. Did you notice that the ones they show on PBS have scenes that have been cut from the video versions? They are usually short and inconsequential, but gone, nonetheless. I think that ITV has commercials, so they have to make room for them, and the video versions are the ones shown in Britain.

There is one episode where Tom and Troy are running through a church graveyard and Tom steps on a package of fish so he stops to examine his shoe and makes Troy continue the chase. Tom is teed about the fish on his shoe and at the end of the episode Tom starts saying something like “It was the smoked mackerel!” and he solves the case because of a fish package in a church cemetery. The dry humor is outstanding.

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte called Barack Obama a “son of a whore” on Monday as he vowed not to be lectured by the US leader on human rights when they meet in Laos.
“We will be wallowing in the mud like pigs if you do that to me.”
Duterte was due to hold a bilateral meeting with Obama on Tuesday afternoon on the sidelines of a gathering of global leaders hosted by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Vientiane, the Lao capital.
But shortly after Duterte spoke, Obama appeared to cast doubt on whether such a meeting could take place.
What? The master of diplomacy is afraid of chatting with a fellow over some mean words? 😀
Obama is a laughingstock.

Czarina and I are eating homemade poboys and drinking cheap wine. Thst led to reminiscing about long-gone eateries and, since we were eating poboys, place called Teddy’s Grill.
Teddy’s was, many years ago, a family grocery store and butcher shop. As the big box stores killed the family groceries many of them added lunch areas – Teddy’s gave up on groceries and became a cafe.
Teddy’s had THE best roast beef poboy in town, if not the world, and their french fry poboy, with or without beef gravy, would make you cry. At least once a week, for the years I worked out at the Lakefront area, we ate there. It was old and the food was old time, hand made with fresh ingredients and served hot, it was more than reasonably priced and you felt FULL and satisfied after you ate it.
Come Katrina and Teddy’s, along with many other small, neighborhood, family-owned eateries folded. Lord that was good food, the families would bevin the store before dawn getting breakfadt and lunch ready. Etouffee, jambalayas, shrimp/crab stuffed artichokes, gumbos…all fresh and handmade, all at unbelievably small prices. The tables and chairs were old when our folks ate these and the flair of some of the serving staff might make you wide eyed but lit was something to look forward to.
Now it’e nouvelle NOLA cuisine or the same fast food you can find in Broken Arrow (sorry, Broken Arrow, nothing personal), that setting that made you feel uyou were having lunch with friends and family is gone. At keast we got to enjoy it for some twenty years before it all went away.

Obama cancelled a meeting with Phillipine president Duterte after it appears Obama will chastise Duterte for his government’s extrajudicial killing of drug dealers. Duterte said that if the POtuS ragged on him he’d curse Obama back and the POtuS, who’s a total stranger to street-style Ebonics, had a hissy fit and cancelled their meeting.
Now Duerte’s gummint done whacked some 2000 dealers at varying levels and saved the tax payers beaucoup in trial and incarceration charges and gave thugs-in-training something to think about. Left instated is that the Moslem guerillas in the Philippines use drugs to fund their attacks on the state and murders of Christians.
Now why would an old Southside Chicago community organizer whose income was as veiled as his connections to Indonesia (where a lot of Philippine Moslem insurgent support comes from), Moslems and Southside drugs be upset about…you get the picture.

Let’s also not forget the POtuS’s shower-buddy relationship with Mexican president Nieto who continues to dump millions of Mexico’s detritus and cartel infrastructure into the US with Obama’s help. Nieto’s government is as deeply immersed in drugs as ours and were the cartel profits and monies the imigrants here send back to Mexico stopped tonite at midnight what do you think might happen?
Let’s also not forget Obama’s other snuggy bunney bro. Rahm, was sent back to Chicago from being the POtuS’s…well, snuggy bunny…to presided over a city that hosted not only a $3-billion a year cartel operation but was THE distribution center for drugs for the Midwest. Lrt’s not forget that an operation of tjis size, complexity and income escaped the eagle-eyed stare of the Chicago political infrastructure until the Feds pulled it down…sort of.
But wait, you say, there’s no smoking gun proof, it’s all a remarkable confluence of coincidence. Uh, yeah.
