Well, Rubio’s short statement was positive. Now, let’s see how Ted will do.

Perhaps Ted Cruz thinks saying Donald Trump is the equivalent of saying Voldemort ? What a clown.

I was about to say the same thing. Unless I’m wrong, his goal is to support the party without supporting the candidate. That way, he can claim that he is a team player, then go rogue in four years.

He certainly doesn’t sound to be supporting Trump. He’s really getting on my last nerve and he just keeps on and on, I think they’re going to have to pull him off the stage to get him to shut the hell up.

He’s just as big of an ass as Ryan imho.

Helloed so smug and arrogant the the entire audience was chanting Trump and he insulted everyone by saying something about it being only the NY delegates.

How can anyone possibly believe that Cruz has an ounce of dignity in his entire body?

I just got a phone call from the biggest Cruz supporter you could ever find, a family member that I quit speaking to because of how rude and obnoxious she was. I saw her number and was ready to tear into her, but her first words were, “Don’t yell, I’m very sorry, please hear me out.”
She went on to say she could not believe he did that and that she would never support that man again and that although she couldn’t make up for the horrible things she said to me, she was really sorry and she now sees that she made an ass out of herself for the biggest ass she has ever witnessed in or out of politics. That she will work her butt off to hopefully see that this man’s political career is over in Texas.

Yeah I think Trump gave him the rope he hung himself tonight, never did I expect to get an apology from this woman, she was a Cruzbot through and through.

I can’t quite get over that she called me a heathen and that I deserved to be gutshot(that was one of actually two Cruz supporters who told me I deserved to be gut shot), but I will forgive, just won’t be forgetting real soon.

I am just stunned to hear there are real people that say things like that. I understand I’ve isolated myself so perhaps that is why I don’t personally hear it.

Real people who are family at that, well in-laws but still family. I think they watch too many old westerns.

I was called a lot of things on FB before I started deleting and blocking.

My daughter and husband are even more hotheaded than I and informed a few of them they better never darken the door. My husband was ranting and raving when he learned I answered her phone call tonight and he called her some not so nice names and told me I should have told her to choke on her apology. At least though he never said she should be gutshot. lol

There’s a reason we’re not big on family reunions. 🙂

He is a terrible wretched man and he is trying to get people to vote against Trump and should be thrown off the stage.

THE TED CRUZ SPEECH… WHAT DID HE DO?

    http://dennismichaellynch.com/the-ted-cruz-speechwhat-he-did/

Cruz started his speech congratulating Trump for winning the nomination. And as I predicted he spent his time slamming Hillary Clinton, President Obama, and the policies of the left. But overall he tried to position himself for 2020 or 2024.

What he failed to do was provide an endorsement for Donald Trump. Ted’s failure to endorse Trump was a mistake, and it reflects a man who is short on class. Ultimately, Cruz buried himself — he will never win the Republican nomination for president in the future, especially if Trump loses to Hillary.

So to answer the question, “What did he do?” The answer is Ted hurt his own party. I find it disgusting that he would treat Trump and all that support him with such a lack of respect. His self-serving rhetoric and combative attitude is representative of why Americans hate politicians. Cruz cares about his own future, he is a victim to his own ego, and he cares less about you and your children. He wants Hillary to win.

I think that’s a fine way of putting it. He was booed off the stage, and Newt stuck the knife between his ribs, and gently twisted it.

I read that he walked into the donors’ suite and was met with, “You’re a disgrace!” That one donor had to be physically restrained.
I also saw on FB a woman who is an Oklahoma delegate say that even at least half the Texas delegates were booing him. She wrote that at least 3/4 of the floor was livid and like nothing she had ever seen before. She said she was afraid they were going to run on the stage and physically remove him if not beat him to a pulp and that even afterwards people were still mad and everyone was talking about it, including Cruz delegates who were disgusted with him.

I had no idea what he would do, but I didn’t expect him to be that bad. I figured he wouldn’t endorse Trump, but I didn’t think even he was that stupid or that big of a Scumbag.

It’s true Heidi Cruz was escorted out of the RNC convention. ABC is doing its very best to make Trump supporters sound like vicious neanderthals. Frankly if Ted Cruz was a decent man neither Heidi nor poppa Cruz would have been in the audience since Cruz knew he was going to spit right in the face of Donald Trump. What a disgrace.
