Next big MSM drama;
Tiffany plagiarized Ivanka she said, “I love my father” and Don Jr. definitely plagiarized Eric Trump. Don Jr. said My dad is my best friend. Eric said those exact same words recently in an interview. Does Donald Trump lie to each of his children and tell them in private that he is their best friend? MSM want to know.
And they all plagiarized each other as they all said “My dad would be a tremendous president.”.
The bastages.

Milo Suspended Permanently by Twitter Minutes Before ‘Gays For Trump’ Party At RNC
http://www.breitbart.com/milo/2016/07/19/breaking-milo-suspended-twitter-20-minutes-party/
The justification for the suspension is currently unknown, although it could be as a result of Milo’s run-in with Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones on the site. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey publicly reached out to Jones late on Monday evening after she complained about “abuse” on the platform. Milo was suspended despite the fact that he sent no abusive tweets to the actress.

I still can’t believe Ted Cruz is being allowed to speak tonight. Ryan and Johnson should be a lesson as to giving your enemies a place on your platform, they were both asses. That said at least they have some sense that they are not gods and that the people there were indeed there to support Trump so they were just complete jerks and bemoaned Hillary without praising Trump. (I think Ryan said his name once maybe twice and had the audacity to say that the nominee is not who he wanted it to be.) Go to hell Ryan.
Cruz IMO is delusional and thinks the majority of the people there are there for him and want him to be the nominee. He is going to sound like a condescending indignant, arrogant twit and he is going throw dig after dig at Trump and those who support him.
I hope Cruz is removed from the line up or Trump signals SS to remove him from the stage.

Ryan looked like an a$$, heck even McConnell didn’t look as bad as Ryan. IMHO Ryan didn’t help himself with the American people.
Cruz can act the same.
You know the old saying, “give them enough rope and they’ll hang themselves,” I think that is what Trump is doing.
I don’t know if it’s spending much of his life around construction sites or what but Trump is not your average New Yorker or average billionaire.
I’m not too worried about Cruz, he’ll either hang himself or have his supporters wanting to hang themselves.

I hope so.
I know that Ryan’s speech hurt him in WI. WI may be old party RNC but they are also rednecks and they also respect achievement and the rule of law. Ryan looked like a bitter whiny politician. No one can find that attractive, the best they can do is make excuses for it.
If Paul Nehlen continues you run against Ryan’s actions he may actually have a prayer.
Cruz I do not believe has the impulse control of an adult he believes that he can talk anyone into anything so it should be interesting. Trump should stick all the women Cruz is accused of having affairs with in the front row :D.

Just saw this on FB, commenting on article on MSN, “Trump could seek new law to purge government of Obama appointees”:
I lost interest in elections quite a few years ago when I understood that we are, in fact, ruled by administrration. It almost doesn’t matter who wins elections, unless it is somebody who overthrows our administrative dictatorship. If Trump does that, I will insist my children name their male children “Donald Trump _____”.

Here’s the problem – it ain’t all about the appointees, it’s about the civil service pukes the appointees and promoted to senior civil service and SES positions. They are locked in place by law and you can’t remove them without redoing the entire civil service law and Congress hasn’t been able to do that for decades.
Those appointees are vectors, just there long enough to infect the body politic.

I had been wondering about the bureaucracy. They have taken over the government, passing rules and regulations that bypass the President and/or Congress.

What has always ticked me off about that is congress could stop it, but the democrats cheer them on and the republicans campaign against regulations.
LikeLiked by 5 people
Yes, Congress doesn’t want to stop it, including the Republicans. Those politicians use the bureaucracy to get things done under the radar, unbelievable things and not always just to pad their pockets. What Czar says above about senior civil servants and especially the SES, is absolutely true. I don’t say this as an opinion, but because I lived it. My husband was almost appointed into the SES directly out of private industry. Thank the Lord, it didn’t happen, but he ended up with a top-level civil service job in a DC Department. He was well-qualified for his job, but what he and I lived and learned in the few years he was there (the last years before our recent retirement), would curl your hair and horrify you (some of it IS really that bad.) I know you guys are tough cookies, but please believe me – some of what goes on up there, in the massive bureaucracy, that none of us knows about is truly BAD and would probably scare the snot out of the toughest of us. I’ve lived through some really tough times and bad, scary things in my life, but I have never been so literally afraid for our safety and lives as I was during the last couple of years I had to live in that place while my husband still had to work there. It took us that long to be able to get away. I know how Russian civil servants felt during the purges that went on in Soviet Russia. Paranoid, but for a good reason.

I do believe I’ve mentioned numerous times over the years that the biggest problem the BaRat will leave behind is the roaches he liberally salted through the government. Their effects will go on long after he i out using his new Knights of the Mystic Sea group to vacuum up money. Expect their to be numerous of communications behind the ex-POtuS (been waitin’ years for that title) and his minions and possible in situ saboteurs.
His appointees will ensure that the damages he had planned for AmeriKKKa wil go on long after he’s done feeding at the public trough.
LikeLiked by 5 people
I agree, and I also think there were plenty of roaches there before this latest disaster of a president appeared on the scene. Now I’m sure they’ve multiplied and spread beyond all reasoning. How they can be fumigated out is the problem. As you say, there are laws, and bureaucrats have all kinds of powers and abilities to hide in the dark places and fight back.

Worst thing is, this current Civil Service law is the result itself of civil service reform. Only was you can get a law thru is to have multiple entities ad their two cents and that’s what creates the swamp. That and the inevitable tweaks and modifications by other laws that also help foul the water.

Perhaps they will offer early retirement packages to reduce the number of civil service employees – like what the auto companies did. There will be a cost associated with it but, let’s face it, it would be better to pay them for a while, but get them out of government.

Peter Thiel’s Embrace of Trump Has Silicon Valley Squirming
When the technology investor Peter Thiel takes the stage just before Donald J. Trump at the Republican convention this week, he will become the most prominent public face of a species so endangered it might as well be called extinct: the Silicon Valley Trump supporter.
Nobody knows what Mr. Thiel, a co-founder of PayPal, will say (he declined an interview), but in the tech industry, his appearance at the convention is being greeted with more apprehension than excitement. Venture capitalists have a special term for investment opportunities that offer the potential for a big return but also carry a great deal of risk: high beta. For Silicon Valley’s political aspirations, Mr. Thiel’s speech is the ultimate high-beta performance. …
Mr. Thiel, who was last in the news for his financial support of Hulk Hogan’s legal fight against Gawker Media, has a slate of political views that stand out of line with most in tech, and perhaps most Americans. He once wrote that “the 1920s were the last decade in American history during which one could be genuinely optimistic about politics.” After that, he suggested, things went south because, among other things, women were given the right to vote. Meanwhile, Mr. Trump’s views — on issues including immigration, encryption, antitrust regulation and free trade — as well as his overall tone and temperament have been met with steely opposition by many in tech.
The author goes on to explain that the silicon valley folks have rigid ideas about what is acceptable, and what is not, and woe be the man or woman who veers from the PC track. Given as an example is Brendan Eich at Mozilla:
A bigger problem than Mr. Trump’s policy ideas was his tone. Though Silicon Valley has well-known problems with diversity in its work force, people here pride themselves on a kind of militant open-mindedness. It is the kind of place that will severely punish any deviations from accepted schools of thought — see how Brendan Eich, the former chief executive of Mozilla, was run out of his job after it became public that he had donated to a campaign opposed to gay marriage. Mr. Trump’s comments about immigrants, women and so many other groups have made him a kind of kryptonite in Silicon Valley.
Mr. Thiel, a billionaire known for his unusual positions, does not appear to be too bothered by kryptonite. And some on the right said they were open to hearing what Mr. Thiel had to say in defense of Mr. Trump.

The Hostage Air Base – and Its Hydrogen Bombs

????
Most worrisome, about 50 hydrogen bombs are stored by the U.S. at Incirlik, ostensibly on behalf of NATO. These bombs are “protected” by Turkish troops and to some degree their potential use is shared with the Turkish Air Force.
About 50 years ago, the US installed those bombs during the Cold War and they haven’t been removed. No one really knows exactly why they haven’t been removed since they are designed to be flown by plane and advances in Russian weapons systems have made it highly unlikely that any of them would be very useful tactically.

Advice from a NaNa who discovered little boots and hats cost an arm and a leg, garage sales and resale shops are your friend.
I splurged once and got to see him wear them twice, 60 bucks for a little pair of boots.
Now he has several pairs of boots to grow into that look brand new because some dummy like me splurged 60 bucks and then sold them to me, the most expensive I paid 10 bucks for. lol
He had on a pair of shoes a few weeks ago and my sister asked me if my daughter or I paid 80 bucks for them. I asked her if that’s what they cost and she said yes. I told her well I paid 3 bucks for them at a garage sale. She said they looked brand new, I told her because at his age they don’t get to wear them long enough to even break them in. She told me she wished her kids and grandkids were like my daughter, but they’d stroke out if she gave them something that came from a garage sale. I told her she could always just not buy them and let them pay that much.

Yes we have them as well, there a couple of different ones we’ve went to. I bought his big stroller at one, the new price for it was $140 and I paid $35 for it.
There are also some FB groups that are just for kids stuff and we buy a lot from there as well.
It’s just silly to me to buy everything new when as babies sometimes they might only wear something once before they outgrow it. Even now he still doesn’t wear anything long enough to wear it out. He’s went up a shoe size in just 2 weeks. He started off this summer wearing 18 and 24 month shirts and now he’s wearing 2t and 3t.

A few years back my daughter and I were walking around our church’s rummage sale. I found a very cool knick knack and was carrying it around with my other treasures when my daughter came up to me and said, “Mom!” to which I replied “What?” and she said “you donated that! ” 🙄
I put it back 😐.
I buy a lot of CD’s at rummage to put on my phone. A lot cheaper than iTunes.

I’ve done that more than once, even bought a shirt once and brought it home to hear my husband say, “I thought you didn’t like how that shirt fit and donated it to the Church sale.” lol

My daughter and her sisters in law also exchanged clothes for the kids. There are six families, and somebody was always having a baby for a while. The year my younger gs was born, there were five babies, and the year the older one was born, there were four babies. They have ten boys and five girls (cousins) in all.

When my youngest son was born my neighbor had just had a little boy and her oldest boy was a year younger than my oldest son, so she’d give me clothes for my youngest son and I’d give her clothes for her oldest son.

Yeah, bought boots twice for GGS, outgrew them almost as fast as I got ’em home. POd a few family members when GGS was two – I went out and bought him boots, little wife-beater T and bibs and took a picture of him sitting up at the bar in our country diner.

Anti-Trump Protesters Throwing “Pee Bombs” At RNC Convention Goers
Things are getting increasingly testy outside the GOP convention in Cleveland.
Reports now indicate protesters are literally throwing “pee bombs” at people walking into the convention hall.
The pee bombs are said to be coming from individuals associated with Black Lives Matter and a communist group carrying signs that read, “AMERICA WAS NEVER GREAT.”
Rumors are now swirling of a potentially more violent push by protesters starting tonight and then culminating tomorrow night shortly before Donald Trump takes the stage.

Do you remember when Dianne Feinstein said that it’s legal to hunt people with 50 and 100 round magazines?
Reading things like this for just a split second make me wish her crazy talk was reality.

In her neck of the woods it’s legal to hunt people with HIV loaded weapons.
