Looks like the cops in Cleveland have a 1,000 scumbag per day bag limit.
CLEVELAND (Reuters) – Police in Cleveland say they aim to avoid mass arrests at the protests planned for next week’s Republican National Convention, but preparations by the city’s courts to process up to 1,000 people a day have some civil rights activists worried.

They should just have a giveaway at the Cleveland Brown’s stadium running concurrent with the convention, every day it can be something different. Start out with a bang on Monday with 1) Free BLM t-shirt 2) Free LGBTQRS (?) LM t-shirt 3) Free 4 day hotel stay with free cable, booze and food including room service.

The other 3 days should then take care of themselves.

Stella, maybe best picture yet. Sometimes I wish I lived in a huge house so that I could have many beautiful pictures on the wall. This would be one of them.

Your pictures are a nice start to every day, giving us a moment to pause and appreciate beauty that we might not otherwise steal for ourselves. Thank you, for your talented eye, and for taking the time to find and share them.

Wellllll, thechad on the Islamic Terrorist-o-Meter is swinging back from the apologist’s ‘mental illness’ to the realist’s ‘terrorism’. The French investigators are saying he was radicalized but the apologists can keep pounding the table and saying the reaso he may have been radicalized is that he was mentally ill.
In the meatime let the POtuS keep on looking like a thinly disguised CAIR Bear and Hillary work at finding a way to work Pokeman into Islamic terrorism, Trump’s going to keep on saying what the people need to hear on the issue.

Whatever it was πŸ™„ there is no longer a need to worry about it. The Islamist Apologist in Chief has said that we will not be fooled by this kind of nonsense into responding in kind but we will continue on the path of dialogue and diplomacy.

How this man chews without choking is a wonder. Then again maybe even that concept is too large for him and that is why he is so thin.

    By the way.

I went to Waukesha Republican headquarters yesterday. Something I have avoided doing because I knew I would be hitting my head against the wall.

Plenty of Ryan the Rat signs.

They of course had no Paul Nehlen signs. Why I asked. β€œOh we are out of them”. When will you be getting some? β€œDon’t know”. Any Trump signs? β€œNo we are out”.

Which to be fair they had some small Trump signs …………on the floor…………

Past elections (and I’m pretty sure my memory serves me well here) they have always had a sign for the republican presidential candidate out on the lawn next to the road. No sign.

I was not asked if I wanted to volunteer (I have never walked in there before without being asked to go door to door or work the phones.) From what I could tell no one was working the phones in the back room.

The chap said I’ll be back here if you have any other questions and left the room.

I am going to go back with my Trump t-shirt on and see how things turn out.

From the files of kids do and say the darndest things. One of my son’s new things is to say, “eeewww” at anything he sees as nasty or anything he doesn’t like. Most times it’s food he doesn’t want to eat, mud, poo, etc. On the way to the races last night though we stopped at a WalMart to buy bug spray because we forgot to bring any. There were two women, one wearing the full hijab, the other with just her head covered. He kept pointing at them saying, “eeewww!”

The other is my daughter usually doesn’t see his reactions to the races because we have him on the grand stand side and she’s on the pit side, but last night we went to the pit side because it was an unfamiliar track. He cheers for the races but he also claps and cheers when there are wrecks. I don’t know why he does it, he just started doing it on his own a few weeks ago. He was doing it while watching the race sitting on her lap last night and folks were looking at him and she kept saying to his uncle that he was cheering cause his Daddy avoided the wreck. His uncle who couldn’t take the hint she was trying to cover for him cheering for a wreck kept saying, “nope he’s cheering the wreck!” lol

He doesn’t play with kids his own age very often, but last night he was playing with a little boy 6 months older than him and the boy pushed him, he doubled up his little fist and punched the boy in the stomach. I told him not to hit, but have to admit I grinned a little on the inside that he defended himself. That probably makes me a bad NaNa.

All true and relevent but why, if Turkey’s circling the drain, is the military supporting Erdogan? Even if the main issue were the Kurds the military’s pretty good at reducing Kurd numbers without Erdogan, and Erdogan’s cozying up to ISIS can’t be making the military feeling comfy.
I don’t think most Europeans think of Turkey as being European, for them Europe ends at the Bosphorus. Greece is Europ, Turkey’s ‘them other guys over there’. Greece has been part of NATO as it needed Greece but for decades Turkey’s been blocked from joining the EU. Russia recognized Turkey’s money problems a while ago and tried to buy them but Turkey still doggedly held out for Europe. I’m wondering if Turkey bring the funnel for immigrants flooding Europe wasn’t Turkey trying to blackmail the EU into admitting them?
You have to look st Turkey’s military and its capabilities along with its economic problems, it may be a money-strapped giant but it’s also a military giant and a stategic giant and those are all potential problems.

Another thought: I wouldn’t put it past Iran and/or Russia to take advantage of Turkey’s unfortunate circumstances to try and destabilize it. Iran and Russia could support Kurdish seperatists to carve out portions of the country while promoting seperatist activities inside of Kurd-majority areas of Turkey. It’s in Iran’s best interests to weaken Turkey, a much stronger military rival, while Russia still looks at Turkey, or strategic parts of it, being in its sphere.
Neither Europe or our feckless POtuS is stepping up to the plate and Turkey, to NATO and Europe as a whole, is every bit as important as Greece. Let’s just see where this ride takes us.

If I had any hope at all, this produces the next 10 Charles Martels, champions of the Cross against the Crescent.

I don’t, though, for this life.

It’ll probably produce the next 10 Rick Warrens, urging us all to be nice to the Crescent because, in his deceiving-his-own-flock words, “they worship the same God we do.”

      There won’t be another Crusade.

I say that with a great deal of sadness for, and even more disappointment in, our people.

The West has committed suicide, by allowing Islam. It’s too late.

I see Hot Air commentary from time to time on FB, mainly by friends and family who are ticked about the latest rant by Allahpundit.
Today I saw this Hot Air reader poll that says 28% are still Never Trump and it’s supposedly a greater number than ever before. Ed Morrissey makes the argument that a “conservative” site with this many Never Trump readers shows how much work Trump has to do. Now I’m not a rocket scientist nor am I a campaign guru, but does it really surprise ol’ Ed that readers who want to read the constant bashing of Allahpundit would say they will never vote for Trump? Better yet, does he not think if Hillary becomes President Hot Air, especially Allahpundit will not share a huge part of the blame?
Since I’ve read some of the commentary by Allahpundit, I know he hates Trump with a passion and he has told a lot of lies and his view of conservatism is not my view.
