    BTW, it occurred to me [while on vacation] that these threads are like a 21st century equivalent of the old telephone party lines. You can’t see the people who are talking, but they are familiar voices, and the camaraderie is comforting and encouraging. And anyone can chime in at any time.

    Ok folks! WeeWeed holds the money. I’m replacing light switches and electrical outlets today!
    If the 1960’s wiring is the correct gauge I’m going for 20Amp everything. Most likely it’s not, and I’ll have to stay with 15A. I think it’s all copper wire and no aluminum so I shouldn’t need to worry about that. If there’s no breakfast tomorrow, you can guess why and fight over the winnings.

      Three signs up between my house and my parents up for Paul Ryan. Still none of Nehan but I wouldn’t expect to see them. It is about a 50 mile ride and there have been loads of signs in the past. Paul Nehlen may have a chance, apparently he should up at Ryan’s house and demanded that Ryan tear down the wall that surrounds his own home or agree to put up a wall on our southern border.

          He is in the middle of it, isn’t he? I thought his last email or two said that he had had to pay for the billboards and has ALL of them sewed up. There are none left for Ryan. LOL He does need more money, though.

            I had to take immediate action to SHUT RYAN OUT.

            When we inquired about available billboards between now and DUMP RYAN DAY, we were told there were SIX BILLBOARDS not rented. But if we didn’t pay for them immediately, they would be open to anyone else (including the Ryan campaign). So I went ahead and authorized paying up front for all six billboards.

            These billboards are absolutely vital because they reach voters where they live. In fact, the first two billboards alone that just went up will reach 150,000 people each and every week between now and election day.

            But as of this morning, we were just at 50% of our funding goal for this billboard campaign. That’s why I need your help today.

            Will you stand with me to get all six of these billboards fully funded — as soon as possible?

          These are the three types of billboards Nehlen already has up.

          There are zero billboards where I drive in WI to get to my parents. It is a pretty rural area with some small towns.

          Maybe I’ll drive to Janesville and have a day trip with a friend, Janesville, Racine and Kenosha are where all the activity would be. The town I live in (Waukesha) has only the very South West region being in Ryan’s district.

          I do believe that some people are waking up to the reality of Ryan’s betrayal but he is a highly favored son and the PTB have circled the wagons.

      I have a friend who was a Marine military policeman during the Iraq invasion and his job was to protect Marine convoys from insurgent ambushes. He was chewed out by an officer for being ‘too aggressive’. I have no idea what too aggressive is but if it’s keeping my butt safe I want as much of it as I can get.

        Just came back from rebaiting traps. Got a new nightvision scope yesterday, allows me to use the scope in brighter light without damaging the ‘tube’. My night hog rifle has a night scope, silencer, green flashlight, infrared gladhlight and a smsll bipod. I figure thst I can save ammo money, just have to drop the rig on the hog from the stand, it will break its neck.
        Yes, it’s cheaper to buy the pork but it’s infinately more fun this way.

            Like all other meat it depends on what the original owner was eating. Ours are eating corn from our plantings with some stuff they root out. The meat’s very lean and grained as they move around a lot. I’ve been wet-cooking ours with smoked bacon and unfiltered apple cider. I’ll smoke the ribs and make bigos out of the necks and backstraps. It makes super BBQ and sloppy joes.

    I have always liked Sherman and argued with people that he was more than an arrogant NFL player. Sherman has long been a hero in the black community, I suppose that will end today.

    DALLAS, TX (AP) — Republican Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas sustained “extensive second- and third-degree burns” on both legs below the knees and on both feet and could miss next week’s Republican National Convention.

    Spokesman Matt Hirsch said Sunday that Abbott was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, on Thursday when he was scalded in an accident involving hot water. He didn’t provide further details.

    The fiery stunt by a few dozen members of the group Disarm the Police led to a chaotic scene at about 8 p.m. in Fort Greene Park, when the activists enraged 40 members of the Hallowed Sons Motorcycle Club by roasting the flag on a tiny barbecue grill.

    “They took off like little b—hes,” said one biker. “They lit the f–king flag and took off running once they got slapped once or twice.”

    There are way more of us that can take care of ourselves than there are them that can take care of themselves 😎
