Mateen was a ‘known quantity’ to federal law enforcement before he killed 53 people in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.
The senior law enforcement source reports that Mateen became a person of interest in 2013 and again in 2014. The Federal Bureau of Investigation at one point opened an investigation into Mateen but subsequently closed the case when it produced nothing that appeared to warrant further investigation.
“He’s a known quantity,” the source said. “He’s been on the radar before.”Mateen was a U.S. citizen; his parents are from Afghanistan, CBS News reports.

Note that the POtuS hasn’t made an official statement yet, he’s conferring with his advisors tonsee how to spin this, any hslf-assed ‘leader’ would have at least made some squeaking statementbto show his solidarity with the injured, ect ect ect, but not this half-assed pol. His interests are more with protecting his interests and moving the finger of gulit away from the Moslems and towards cobservative, white gun owners. Since he now a Hillary supporter they’re probably both trying to find a way to blame this on Trump and his dipporters – Benghazi II.

Ex-wife of suspected Orlando shooter: ‘He beat me’
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/ex-wife-of-suspected-orlando-shooter-he-beat-me/2016/06/12/8a1963b4-30b8-11e6-8ff7-7b6c1998b7a0_story.html
The ex-wife of the 29-year-old man suspected of killing 50 people in a Orlando nightclub early Sunday said that he was violent and mentally unstable and beat her repeatedly while they were married.
The ex-wife said she met Omar Mateen online about eight years ago and decided to move to Florida and marry him.
At first, the marriage was normal, she said, but then he became abusive.
“He was not a stable person,” said the ex-wife, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because she feared for her safety in the wake of the mass shooting. “He beat me. He would just come home and start beating me up because the laundry wasn’t finished or something like that.”

Oh oh – stating to sound like a ‘mental health’ and not a ‘Moslem terrorist’ issue.

What’s to say, we have a president who wouldn’t sat Shiite if he had a mouth full, we have a president allowing around, itially, nearly a hundred thousand UNCLEARED POTENTIAL MOSLEM TERRORISTS, with a flacid Congress just bobbing in his wake, the FBI who’s in charge of this charade vetting of the Moslem refugees once again tap dancing as to why they had a terrorist they’d questioned and let go turn into a mass murderer…andbit goes on and on.
Once again from me, the FBI questioned suspects in this and the Santa Barbara shootings, under ideal circumstances and BLEW IT! How the **** can anyones expect them to stretch their already limited and seemingly not-all-that-competent screening folks to cover a hundred thousand immigrants from countries without any systems to check? Oh, and don’t forget, Obama’s told them to cut their processing time from 18 to three months.

The answer is Obama is bringing them into the country to take over. 👿

More like they’re here to help their puppeteers take over, they’re third place winners in a second place battle from a country that hasn’t seen first place in a thousand years.

Only one local news station showed ANY interest in the clip of the Orlando Islamic scholar calling for gays to be killed. One had me email the url while the rest gave me the ‘we don’t need the url, we’ll find and check it out for ourselves’ line.

Orlando gunman tied to radical imam
released from prison last year,
say law enforcement sources
The gunman who murdered at least 50 people in a Florida nightclub early Sunday morning was a follower of a controversial gang leader-turned-bank robber who was released from prison last year despite warnings from prosecutors that he would recruit people to carry out violent acts, sources told FoxNews.com.
Marcus Dwayne Robertson, known to his supporters at his Orlando-based Fundamental Islamic Knowledge Seminary as “Abu Taubah.”

Means they’ll just have to get more sand. Local stations soft-peddled the isdue tonite, soothing the gay fest attendees for next week’s par-tay as hard as they could. I sent an email to a city councilperson asking if, in in the light of Orlando, they’d already started taking more security measures for the Labor Day international gay fest they have in NOLA. Pixel wadting boilerplate reply expected.

Maybe the POtuS should have seen this report before he went on with his expected ‘look over there, don’t look over here’ speech. Can’t wait for the CAIR excuses to start pouring out, maybe they and POtuS can do a joint ‘look over there’ conference and show joint solidarity with the LGBT community by doing a drag duet of show tunes.

Wish we had some boots on the ground there. Reporter, Peter Doocy, on Fox is saying that he doesn’t like to leave the area because just outside the police blockade there are loads of people, kneeling and crying because they still don’t know where their loved ones are.
The 50 lifeless bodies are still in the club.

ISIS has taken credit for the actions of Omar. Hmm.. only minutes after blabbermouth scratched his friend in front of the world and said “Give me your guns and let’s not jump to conclusions about Omar’s motivation.”

It seems some of those present at the massacre by the son of Allah are escaping their handlers.
Witnesses as reported on Fox news are saying Omar was shouting “ALLAHU AKBAR”
Who knew?

Orlando suspect’s father hosted a TV show and now pretends to be Afghanistan’s president
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2016/06/12/orlando-shooting-suspects-father-hosted-a-political-tv-show-and-even-tried-to-run-for-the-afghan-presidency/?postshare=2441465759392185&tid=ss_tw
The father of Omar Mateen, identified by police as the man behind the carnage at an Orlando nightclub early Sunday morning, is an Afghan man who holds strong political views, including support for the Afghan Taliban. In a video he posted on Saturday, he appears to be portraying himself as the president of Afghanistan.
Seddique Mateen, who has been referred to as Mir Seddique in early news reports, hosted the “Durand Jirga Show” on a channel called Payam-e-Afghan, which broadcasts from California. In it, the elder Mateen speaks in the Dari language on a variety of political subjects. Dozens of videos are posted on a channel under Seddique Mateen’s name on YouTube. A phone number and post office box that are displayed on the show were traced back to the Mateen home in Florida. Mateen also owns a nonprofit organization under the name Durand Jirga, which is registered in Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Interesting thing is that just yesterday I’d ordered another book on the Ismaili Assassins, the original fedayeen from the Crusades. I’m not trying to draw any conclusions or make any suggestions but…

Just got home from an insanely grueling week at work, to this news.
And I was already itching for a proud welfare recipient to mouth off to me, so I could knock them out cold in front of their lil’ future-statistic spawn.
So I’ll refrain from commenting for a while, because my anger was already off the chart.
