May 17 is the Oregon Presidential Primary, an important one in the final countdown to the Presidential nominations. It is a closed primary.
Oregon has 28 Republican delegates, which are awarded proportionally based upon votes.
IF YOU LIVE IN OREGON, PLEASE VOTE! Although Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party, it will not be assured until he accrues 1,237 delegates. As things stand right now, he still needs a little more than 100 delegates (depending on whose count you use).
Real Clear Politics has a good summary of the Republican Party primaries/caucuses: RCP Republican Primaries.
Here are the latest Real Clear Politics polls for Oregon. Trump has 31 point lead in the poll taken May 6-9.

OREGON votes by mail. Here is the information from the Oregon Secretary of State:
Oregon has the most convenient voting system in the country. Since adopting vote-by-mail, Oregon consistently ranks as a national leader in voter turnout.
Registered voters receive a ballot two to three weeks before an election, giving time to research issues or candidates.
Voters also receive an official ballot to complete and insert into the security envelope which is placed in the ballot return envelope and signed by the voter. The ballot return envelope can be stamped and mailed or dropped off at any official drop box across the state. If a voter casts their ballot after the Wednesday before an election, the ballot should be left at a drop box site to ensure it’s counted.
Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
If you are interested in following along, The Democratic Party Presidential primary is also being held today. There are 61 delegates at stake.

That area on the left side of Oregon that you think is the Pacific Ocean is actually all the undocumented fish voters that mail in ballots as needed.

My sister lives smack on the Oregon coast. She mailed in her ballot for Mr. Trump. Unfortunately her grown family thinks he is a racist. She’s devastated and they won’t listen to reason. They lost that many years ago. However, she says there are a lot of closet conservatives in her area.
I’m guessing that maybe even some of the full moon drummers (yea, there are those) might still have a lucid moment or two and vote Mr. Trump. Some of those are somewhat rational between weed.

According to the polls, he has a substantial lead among Republican voters. We will see later, in the general election, just how far that will go in Oregon.
