Paperback – Available May 24, 2016 by Congressman X (Author)

From Amazon:

A devastating inside look at the dark side of Congress as revealed by one of its own! No wonder Congressman X wants to remain anonymous for fear of retribution. His admissions are deeply disturbing. . .
“Most of my colleagues are dishonest career politicians who revel in the power and special-interest money that’s lavished upon them.”
“My main job is to keep my job, to get reelected. It takes precedence over everything.”
“Voters are incredibly ignorant and know little about our form of government and how it works.”
“It’s far easier than you think to manipulate a nation of naive, self-absorbed sheep who crave instant gratification.”
“Fundraising is so time consuming I seldom read any bills I vote on. Like many of my colleagues, I don’t know how the legislation will be implemented, or what it’ll cost.”
“We spend money we don’t have and blithely mortgage the future with a wink and a nod. Screw the next generation. It’s about getting credit now, lookin’ good for the upcoming election.”

Per the Daily Mail, the congressman is a Democrat, which supposedly is disclosed in the book. Their words: The author is a Democrat in Congress who laid out his complaints to a long-time friend and former Capitol Hill staffer who edited them into a book

Their review:

A new book threatens to blow the lid off of Congress as a federal legislator’s tell-all book lays out the worst parts of serving in the House of Representatives – saying that his main job is to raise money for re-election and that leaves little time for reading the bills he votes on.

Mill City Press, a small Minnesota-based ‘vanity press’ publisher describes ‘The Confessions of Congressman X’ as  ‘a devastating inside look at the dark side of Congress as revealed by one of its own.’

‘No wonder Congressman X wants to remain anonymous for fear of retribution. His admissions are deeply disturbing.’

The 84-page exposé is due in bookstores in two weeks, and Washington is abuzz with speculation about who may be behind it….

‘Voters claim they want substance and detailed position papers, but what they really crave are cutesy cat videos, celebrity gossip, top 10 lists, reality TV shows, tabloid tripe, and the next f***ing Twitter message,’ the congressman gripes in the book.

‘I worry about our country’s future when critical issues take a backseat to the inane utterings of illiterate athletes and celebrity twits.’

Much of what’s in the book will come as little surprise to Americans who are cynical about the political process.

‘Fundraising is so time-consuming I seldom read any bills I vote on,’ the anonymous legislator admits. ‘I don’t even know how they’ll be implemented or what they’ll cost.’

‘My staff gives me a last-minute briefing before I go to the floor and tells me whether to vote yea or nay. How bad is that?’

And on controversial bills, he says, ‘I sometimes vote “yes” on a motion and “no” on an amendment so I can claim I’m on either side of an issue.’

‘It’s the old shell game: if you can’t convince ’em, confuse ’em.’

AND …. Something we all know:

One chapter is titled ‘Harry Reid’s a Pompous A**’ and says the senator is ‘sometimes a bit too clever for his own good. The same goes for [Republican Sen. Majority Leader Mitch] McConnell and his pathetic lieutenants. Ditto for most of the House leadership bullies on both sides of the aisle. They wield too much dictatorial power, manipulating legislative procedures and denying members due process.’

What is amazing to me. What I can not wrap my head around, is that they do not give a darn about their children or grandchildren.

They are for all intensive purposes existing as soulless beings. Perhaps there is a reason that so many people are fascinated by zombies these days.

Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!

Nope. I have to disagree. These politicians are not ignorant. They are scheming self indulgent filth because they know if their true intentions were made known there would be a revolution.

Let’s take Hillary as our test politician. Sure she cares that Chelsea is wealthy and lives well, sure she cares that Charlotte rides in the most expensive stroller because it is a reflection of Hillary’s status as Queen of the corrupt. That said, Hillary is not a dullard, she knows history, her law degree I believe was earned not bestowed, she is at least (or was before her brain became her enemy) a person of at least average intelligence. It is only a reasonable conclusion that the world can not be sustained as it is going and that the next few generations, especially Charlotte will be livening in the modern equivalent of the dark ages if Hillary’s road to perdition is stayed upon.

For the first time in my life I have come to believe that the vast majority of sitting politicians do not give a darn about their offspring or their grandchildren. All they care about is the here and now and how opulent and “special” a life they can lead, the rest of the world and future generations be damned.

What else explains the rampant disregard for a grain of common sense and preservation of our future as a country.

They don’t care, they are a hedonistic, narcissistic, lot of cretins.

I have often wondered what it meant when “God hardened pharaohs heart.” I believe I am beginning to understand.

I understand your sentiment. Where I disagree is that you say Hillary knows history. What history would that be? Your and my history, or the history of a Country that has repressed peoples and countries and must still pay a price for those wrongs, hundreds of years later. I know that she grew up in a republican home, but she turned a 180 somewhere along the line and has never looked back. I see it in my own nuclear family. Cousins who live in some parallel universe that I’ve never seen, nor heard of, and they grew up in the same little podunk, one-horse town I did. I’m old enough now to have gotten past the naivete’ that I had for 45-50 years about there being some good in everyone. I don’t believe that anymore. I want to, but I don’t. How else can you explain Hitler, and other truly evil people in the world. I’m not equating the Hilda-beest to Adolf, but evil comes in many shapes, sizes, and degrees. I see it in the Casa Blanco right now. These people might seem on the outside to care about their offspring and spawn, but I’ll bet you that truth be told, most of their kids could describe a childhood that they despise. The goodies they get now are a payback for all the shiite they had to put up with and lack of true love from the ones who should love them the most, but are more concerned with their own power and vanity.

I think that is what I said in my first post about them not giving a darn about their children and grandchildren.

I believe that Hillary knows history, she is not deluded to the point of believing her own schtick. She uses her knowledge of history to manipulate her constituents.

As for people who don’t know history I agree there are many who know nothing of history other than what has been implanted in their brains by the powers that be. I made a dear family member cry because I am voting for Trump. Regardless of our at least 2 hour conversation he can not see the truth of the way our country is headed, there is always an excuse for bad behavior, there is always an “if only” there is always “but there has to be a way!”. I no longer have the luxury of believing that good can not fail here at thei time and place on earth.

I do believe that in the end that there will be as God has said but one thing which remains, “Love” but until that moment in time, all we have is here and now, faith, hope, love existing alongside the nightmare of “moral relevancy” and demonic people like Obama and Hillary praised and glorified by the deluded.

This has been debunked. The book was written by E.A. Blayre III based on his character from “America Deceived III”. Total troll job and everyone is buying it.
