      Marin is usually a predictable place, politically–i.e., DEM nearly to the core. Interestingly, though, I have seen only one or two “Bernie” bumper stickers, and ZERO Clinton stickers. [No Republican ones either, of course, but that would normally get your car keyed…]

      I hope the absence of Dem bumper stickers is a good sign.

    Excellent comment, just seen on Facebook, regarding Trump’s foreign policy address:

    Also, I think what people need to understand is that contrary to popular belief (and recent historical precedence) you can be a politician and still be a human being. There is not “two Donald Trump’s”. We just aren’t used to seeing politicians act like human beings. Ever.

    It’s always scripted and crafted and coiffed and shaped and styled. Never off the cuff, never fast and loose.

    The Donald Trump you see at rallies is the average American at the ball game or the pub or the party.

    The Donald Trump you see at AIPAC is the average American when they have the presentation with the firm’s biggest account and they have a shot at a promotion if they get it right.

    The Donald Trump you see throwing mud and insults is the average American when they feel stepped on or belittled or not given the respect they think they deserve.

    The Donald Trump you see giving a foreign policy speech is the average American when they are given the task of assessing a crisis situation and then showing leadership and strength to guide themselves and others safely through it.

    He is a human being. Multi dimensional, imperfect, complicated, unique…the same as the rest of us.

      I see that in him as well. I always think that when people say he’s flip flopping, because how many of us who haven’t thought about a subject for awhile or formed an opinion can have our opinion changed when we think about it a little more or hear someone else who has a well thought out point?

      Very interesting Dennis Michael Lynch said after his program last night he was talking to a Cruz campaign guy and asked him if they really thought Carly singing like that yesterday was smart. He was stunned at the reply. “Yes, we did it on purpose.” “Why” “We did it so we could force Donald Trump to make fun of her.”

    Interesting on Lou Dobbs Tony Sayegh said something very interesting after Dobbs played a Bobby Knight speech today where is said Trump is not an Democrat, he is not a Republican, he is a redblooded American ….. Tony -GOP strategist – said this is actually the perfect roadmap for Trump to win in November and he is the only candidate at this point who can play this road map… he said Bobby revealed how Trump can win because if he makes this race “we the people” against the establishment [Hillary] then he wins in a rout…..

    In a round about way Trump is running as a 3rd party candidate.
