It’s true, it works! Just finished watching a piece on the Science Channel about how Japanese have proved that people who watch cat videos on the net are 44% more efficient at work!

Aside from the all too obvious ‘Dancing With The Stars and Crescents’, ‘American Idolatry’ and ‘Battle Of the Burkas’ I can see ‘COrPSe’ , ‘Boom’ and ‘Home Free’, but then I’m sorta sick of reality in general.

Yeah not like the old days, first hit was on film, and the bullet went through the head of the intended victim, then exited the skull without damaging the brain. And the shooter was caught. Maybe the “new generation of made” men/women need to review the historical archives. Or just watch the Godfather parts 1,2, and 3.

I know a number of older Italians who still do not accept Sicily as part of Italy, they have some not exactly kind things to say about previous North African immigration to Sicily too.
With the damage the Italian government’s done to the Mafia it’s going to be interesting watching the turf fight play out. The Mafia was sort of formed to protect the Sicilians from foreign exploitation but then the UN made nationalism a crime and foreign domination an ideal. Commercial over.
Let’s see the EU portray the immigrant gangs as merely a protective reaction to racist and revanchist xenophobic oppression of nationalist criminals against Keane-eyed immigrants just trying to breathe free…you know the drill.
Geez, wonder when the Chinese will start opening their doors to the millions of immigrants they could use to fill those ghost cities?

Morning Ms.WeeWeed! Not a cloud in the sky!! My boys and girls have finished the winter corn, have past Vet inspection, and this afternoon, turning the herd out to pasture. The orchard grass looks good and should sustain all for a few weeks before I move them to another location. Broke ground, fertilize, and soybeans will be planted within a week or so. All without mishap or visiting Czar’s favorite tractor repair shop.
Now a day of rest, relaxation, and maybe a nap in my future……….

I think I mentioned this once before, I get the concentrated (33% or better) permethrin, I can use it on cattle, horses, chickens and the dogs. I also dilute it and dip my work clothes in it and the dip lasts for at least a dozen cold washes, repels ticks and other icky bugs. Look at your livestock dips, especially if you use a walk-thru drop dip, they probably use permethrin and cost more than the bare dip.

Make your pancakes from scratch with buttermilk, and don’t use the non-fat if you can help it. Keep you batter on the thin side, too.

Self rising flour, skim milk,
two eggs, and whip cream.
Yes, whip cream. Really.
Also, made a double batch.
Results = 4 pancakes. Still
licking my lips. Two were
more than a serving for my
big eyes, leaving two for
another time or day. 😉
Ice cream is on sale this
week. Might get some. 😉
Pancake, ice cream, and
strawberries with whip cream.
Yum, yum, and yummier. 😉

Pancakes reheat well, and can be either refrigerated or frozen. Sour cream is good in pancakes too; the acid in either buttermilk or sour cream seems to make the pancakes more tender. Since you used skim milk, makes good sense to also use whipping cream!

Prince’s death made me think of Bobby, because they (were) both in my Top 5 Living Musicians , as far as modern musicianship goes. Sergei Rachmaninoff is in another category altogether.

By the way, Prince (his real birth certificate first name) didn’t do that symbol thing out of pretentiousness, although he was (considerably), but because his publisher forbade him from publishing any albums under his own name.
So he hacked them, essentially, with a made up symbol…
…which could be called a middle finger.

I saw somebody discussing Prince using the symbol as his name last week. He said it was a genius move on Prince’s part. After everything was settled, he went back to using his name.

Our local weather guys are really putting their reputations on the line these days. I was watching the news earlier today and he did a really great job of narrowing down what area had the best chance of having a tornado Tuesday afternoon, his map covered about 3/4 of Oklahoma.

B-52s made their first anti-ISIS missions today (Monday there), replacing B-1s that need routine maintenance and upgrades. Just as thought, reports are the were using terminal guided/GPS munitions, no mass carpet bombings of extant and perspective Moslem terrs.
Interesting change is that missions that might involve civilian casualties no longer have to be approved by a 4-star, they can be approved at a more local field commander level depending upon the expected numbers of civvies that might be vaporized. Looks like DOD CYA as the blame’s dispersed now, a lower ranking general officer gets to put his/her career on the line. Rule is that It’s OK for them to mass murder Non-Moslems but we have to cherry pick our kills to prevent causibg terrs and their supporters any inconveniences. Seems the only acceptable civilian casualties are Christians, Jews and US citizens.
