I don’t need a new hat, but I will be watching.
I’m corrupting my grandson, we have a small race track near us and I take him out there when I have time to spare. He loves watching the ponies run, the last time I let him pick the horses I would bet on, heck he can’t do any worse than I do. We’d go down to the rails and he’d cheer and then when our horse lost, he’d start yelling and shaking his finger and/or fist at the horse and jockey. He gets that from his PaPa who always blame the jockey. lol
When our horse would win, he’d give me high fives and be all smiles and then give me a big hug. He gets that from his NaNa. 🙂

That’s kind of how I got into bed last night. I’m relaxing this morning until my DH gets back from town buying nails and screws and I have to help him build a chicken house. Then we get to trim more trees, build a new flower bed and paint the porch floor. I painted all the railing and posts yesterday while he was gone, so I’m thinking I should make him do the floor by himself. lol

Morning Ms.WeeWeed. Tex, agree with you, these ladies have been on a roll! Last time I had the interior of the house painted was ’12. So this fall, I have some painters come in. Everything outside is siding, cement, and brick. Even my fence posts have been dipped in used motor/hydraulic oil. Haven’t picked up a brush in years, now I do use my spray gun when redoing tractors. NO PAINTING…………

OMG This is a great article. Very well written. And, what her parents did for her is what all parents should be doing. They just let her be her. These transgender people are confused and they need to be grown before they make decisions. Raising the issue when they are so young, I think, just adds to the confusion. And, now, having the discussion out in the open the way it is, is just confusing children who were not and wouldn’t be confused. It seems to me, this is the way children used to be brought up.

I don’t know when we quit calling that a tomboy. I was a tomboy, I preferred tagging along behind my brothers and male cousins because they did things way more fun than the girls did. I preferred jeans and shorts to dresses, still do as a matter of fact, but then like now I liked my hair long and sometimes I liked getting gussied up in a pretty dress.
My daughter was an even bigger tomboy than I was, she still is. Although she was the only girl, she was still like a son to her Dad and we both still joke we had three sons. My youngest son when he was little liked to play with barbie dolls, although it drove his Dad crazy, it didn’t make him gay or think he was a girl and by the age of 3 or 4 he decided pulling their heads off to make little girls scream was funny like most boys and that didn’t make him a serial killer. lol

Do any of ya’ll know anything about dreams? I had a really strange dream about Donald Trump! He came to my house. My mom and older sister were alive and well, and he came to visit and made Guacamole! I wondered why he used a bushel of avocados and made so much, but apparently it was for all the SS guys outside. He also helped me paint my room, and took us all to a movie, lol. I woke up wondering what the heck this was all about, but it was sort of funny. My mind works in crazy ways at times!

I dreamed of sitting on my front porch with my feet up drinking a big ol’ glass of iced tea.
I slipped away when my son showed up to start helping hubby, my daughter told me I should let her dye my hair and that sounded like a good excuse to get to sit for 30 minutes. lol

I dreamed I walked into my living room and somebody had put a piano in the middle of the room. Yes, I was mad, and trying to figure out how I was going to get rid of it. And who to blame. And why the hell would they do that?

When I was little we had a push peddle player piano. A little apartment model. I was supposed to practice playing, but I found the learning roll. I had really strong legs when I was little from all the peddling.

What a great dream! The only thing that could have made it better would have been margaritas to go with the guac. 🙂 It probably means that you are looking forward to a kind, energetic, man who loves America to get into the WH. I know I sure am.
