      The one thing I’ve noticed out on the Left coast is that the people saying they are far right tend to be more center in their beliefs without knowing it.

        I met this couple awhile back from Seattle, they were nice, but during our conversation they brought up how they sometimes felt like foreigners in Seattle because they were very conservative. As the conversation continued I realized I knew confessed liberals around here who have views far to the right of their views.

      Try pouring a cuppa out of one of those. It’s one of my favorite (!) Industrial Design Fails. For a street video idea, I thought of setting up a long table, maybe two eight-foot catering tables. Cover them with white table cloths. Put coffee in all of them, and a stack of disposable cups next to each and the the Mr. Coffee™ decanter, with it’s wonderfully-designed (grr) glass pour-spout lip somewhere along the line.

      The other containers are: a 16 oz. Coke™ can. A milk jug. An oil can. A pierced V-8™ can. A five-gallon bucket. Another disposable cup. And as many more objects that can contain liquid as you can imagine. Invite people to pour a cuppa with each of these. See where the most stains are. Mr. Coffee™ can’t compete. A Pringles™ can full of coffee would dribble less. I hope whoever designed and approved the probably patented Mr. Coffee™ pour-spout lip is driving an old Huffy™ bike.

      That thing drips like a Klein Bottle.

      (I think they’re in cahoots with the makers of kitchen cleaning products.)

    Goodbye, America, if the Brownshirts of the Left make the Heckler’s Veto legal again. In such a case, the loudest, most violent voice carries the room.

    Witness them shutting down a Trump speech via threats of violence and illegal misbehavior.

    And witness Baltimore black bikers (and four-wheeler-riders) shutting down a whole interstate highway, and being allowed to get away with it.

    Both are related events.

      Imagine if a bunch of conservatives used the same exact tactic as was used to shut down Trump’s free speech to shut down a Sanders speech? Or if a bunch of white guys in pickup trucks shut down a busy metropolitan highway?

      All my acquaintances who said “That was awesome!” would be calling the conservatives Hitler Brown Shirts.

      It’s fun when you can make the enemy live up to their own book of rules…

      …when your side doesn’t have one at all.

      (Other than the 100-point Nicene Creedlike Pharisaical dogma they have.)

      Where I am at, it is the street racers, cars. Most are white. There is also a no chase policy because people on the sides of the roads, there to watch the races, were being killed by cars running from the police. I don’t see a solution to this, but maybe others do? When the police show here, they simply move to a different area and yes, they do it on the major highways also.

      That picture reminds me of an evening when I was staying with my son and dil where they had an apartment on an inlet (I guess that is what it was called). It was the first time I had ever heard of thunder snow. The scene from their balcony looked exactly like that and the thunder seemed to echo over and over after the lightening. Then, it started to snow. It was amazing.

          I see them on Facebook every day. The line is that Trump is a crybaby, and “Trumpsters” are stupid and ignorant. And Trump is too dumb to understand how elections are run, dropped the ball, etc.

            They’re fine with lying, cheating, stealing and destroying the country as long as their guy is doing it.

            In addition Cruz supporters do not seem to get they turned people away from Cruz before he did. I’m starting to believe many of these Cruz supporters are like many Republicans and they aren’t truly pro-country, they’re pro-establishment and some I believe aren’t even Cruz supporters, but insiders.

              I think a lot of the non career supporters just don’t know the difference. They mistakenly think being inside is something to aspire to. It’s just shallow thinking. And as you’ve pointed out in other conversations, it doesn’t make them less destructive though.

                I’ve never been the type of person who kisses rears, blindly does I’m told, or buys friends. That makes it a little difficult to get into their club, even at the local level. They’ll let you think you’re part of the club, but you’re really just their gopher who isn’t allowed to be truly part of their club.

                    Not really, I tried that route, but they wanted me and others do all the phone calls, setting up tables at public events, etc., but anytime real business was taking place they somehow always conveniently forgot to tell you about it or accidentally gave you the wrong time or wrong day.
                    We just got to attend the stuff about what we needed to do and had to listen to the RHINO, that was the pet name us peasants gave to the Republican Hag in Name only.

              Neither do I, a couple of years ago, local school board voted not too have military recruiters at the high school. Attended a school board meeting, and I rose too say a few words, concluded my remarks, the ballot box is a powerful tool when used………next election, clean sweep………
