Article #2, with incisive commentary by Ol’ Remus (apologies if commentary a bit long):

Women are warned not to go out alone at night in Swedish town after multiple sex attacks by ‘foreigners’

[from Ol’ Remus: “Swedes look at the Islamic invasion of their ancient homeland as if it were a crime problem, a matter for the police and courts. It isn’t, not in the long run. Look for no-quarter bloody battles in Sweden’s future. Either Lars or Akmed will be left standing, not both. Which one gets less certain with every passing day, but in the early going the Islamicists have a running start, they go by the rules of a “no rules” contest while Lars dithers in confusion and good intentions. Watch Akmed continue to punch Lars out, take his stuff and pass his daughters around. Then place your bet.” ]

Chicago’s public housing divide, a Watchdogs / BGA special report

    http://chicago.suntimes.com/news/public-housings-gap-of-luxury-a-watchdogs-special-report/

It ended up being a good deal for Lai. Since June 1, 2013, he’s collected more than $100,000 from the CHA, which administers public housing in Chicago for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The CHA pays him $3,911 a month in federal funds to lease his townhouse to the woman and three others in her household, including a child under the age of 6, records show.

It also has been a good deal for Lai’s tenant. She pays no rent because, CHA officials say, she has no income. The CHA declined to identify her or other voucher clients, though it released the names of landlords.

That a sheriff would even consider inciting a riot charges is idiotic. There would be no faces to punch and nobody to rough up if these idiots would respect the right of Trump or any candidate to hold a rally and respect the right of those who come to hear him to be able to hear him.
Actually Trump supporters have been very controlled when you think of how many have been cursed, had their signs ripped out of their hands, been given the finger, been spit on and had punches thrown at them.

I would start announcing that any protesters who come into the rally and disrupt will have charges filed against them. As someone who tried to attend a Trump rally it infuriates me that these low life scum take seats away from those who signed up for tickets and then waited hours.

Good morning! As the colonel said, it’s going to be a good one. The weather is decent, and I can see that Spring will come again this year.

I have to tell you, I really don’t like discord, and it gives me a bad feeling in my chest to do battle in the field of public opinion on the internet, particularly when that battle involves friends and family members. But do battle, I must. I must speak truth when falsehoods are spoken. I must present logic when foolish, or irrational thoughts are expressed. I must do the work to dig out facts to counter lies or misconceptions.

Most of us don’t fight a physical war, but we CAN fight a philosophical one, and we must resist the natural inclination to remain silent when it is difficult to speak, when insults are hurled, or in the face of threats or intimidation. It isn’t easy to do this, but it becomes easier with practice. Each of us has talents, and our own particular method of doing battle. I see many of you exercising your intellectual muscles, going after the truth, and presenting it where it is needed.

You may not see immediate results of your good battle waging, but you never know, then again, when you have armed a weaker warrior with the weapons needed to continue their fight, or planted a doubt where one needs to be planted.

I don’t mean that we should be threatening, or vulgar, or mean ourselves. The truth shines all by itself, and better with a professional presentation and calm demeanor. A bit of righteous indignation does the trick now and then, however, I believe!

So, put on your armor, and march forward to spread truth!

      Good morning Stella.

I’m going to be once again on the family you know what list.

A family member on my husbands’ side said that we need God in our country and if you agree with that then you should vote for Cruz. He’s the only Christian man who lives a Christian life running.

I asked her if she believes the actions and words of Cruz during this campaign were the actions and words you’d expect from a Christian man.

She said we know Trump has not lived a Christian life because he’s been divorced twice and is married to his much younger third wife.

So I told her then she must believe the parents of Cruz have not lived a Christian life because both of them have been divorced more than once. Even worse than that though is she is judging a man for doing what she herself has done, because she has been divorced twice, now married to her much younger third husband that she lived with for 3 years without being married.

      She said Trump had affairs.

I told her that she once again was judging Trump by what she had done, she had an affair on her first husband which led to him divorcing her. She was having sleepovers with three men before her divorce was final from her second husband until she decided on the youngest of the bunch to move into her house, who by the way happened to be married himself at the time.

She told me I was far from perfect myself.

I told her I had never claimed to be, but I have also never said she could not be a Christian because of her past like she is saying about Trump.

Then she accused me of airing her dirty laundry. I also did not air her dirty laundry, all of this was said in Private messages. She then turned around and aired her dirty laundry by taking a screen shot of our private messages and putting them on her timeline to show family members how I was being a mean bully to her.

Don’t Blame Trump for Divisiveness When the Left Says Stuff Like This

Commentators on MSNBC and CNN have been shedding crocodile tears over Donald Trump’s “divisive rhetoric” and lamenting his failure to unify the country. This sudden concern for national unity is rather hard to take from the same worthies who have incessantly glorified the Black Lives Matter movement over the last year and a half. Let’s dip into the rhetoric of a garden-variety Black Lives Matter march that I observed last November on Fifth Avenue in New York City. It featured “F**k the Police,” “Murderer Cops,” and “Racism Is the Disease, Revolution Is the Cure” T-shirts, “Stop Police Terror” signs, and “Hey Hey, Ho Ho, Racist Cops Have Got to Go” chants.

It’s all down hill from there.

Here is my sister-in-law, talking about her brother. She is right – he had no insurance, and he was too young for Medicare and too male for Medicaid. However, he had chosen to work as a self-employed man because he loved what he was doing as a luthier, and he was very talented. I have no doubt that he could have had a job, if he wanted one. He always had, throughout his life, because he was smart, could do almost anything, and he was very personable.

P.S.: I should mention that he was a recovering alcoholic, and that is probably why he lost his job at 55.

I discovered there are many places that most insurance companies won’t pay for. Many of them existed all from donations and you only paid what you could afford.

They said chemo wasn’t an option for her but she had an experimental radiation treatment for her type of cancer, it was not covered by her insurance because it was not an approved treatment.

“Hollywood star Michael Landon was similarly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He, too, had been given three months to live, and he likewise tried the Gerson therapy. Landon appeared on the “Tonight” show, looking hale and hearty after only a short time on the Gerson program. Immediately afterwards, the narration says, Landon was warned off of the Gerson diet by his physicians. He abandoned it, and his condition promptly worsened. He later personally telephoned Pat and told her that he “should have stayed with the Gerson therapy.” Michael Landon died in 1991.”

Pancreatic cancer is a tough disease. I have had two friends die, which is almost inevitable – sooner, or later.

My aunt had a tumor on her pancreas. The doctor who operated told her those were always cancerous. We all assumed she only had a short time. Years later I had to go to her regular doctor who had sent her to the surgeon. I asked him how many people he had treated who lived with pancreatic cancer and he said he had never had one. I started checking and she never had cancer, it was just that nobody told her. She is really bad at asking questions. That was 10 years ago and she just turned 96.

I don’t even think Sanders would fight this. Hillary would, though.

Obama is despicable, if predicably so.

I had some woman jumping all over me on Saturday about the pastor who spoke at the Cleveland rally, saying all kinds of nasty things about the guy. I said something mild back, and she blocked me. Weird.
