hello stella, thanks for speaking out and watchin’ mah back at the Treehouse “Rush Limbaugh goes full nutter” post today. I read the Treehouse on most days and I’ve gotta tell ya that in the last few months with Donald Trump the comments have turned really really nasty and quite frankly disturbing. It seems that the majority of people there are in full blown Jim Jones kool aid mode. It’s fine to be a passionate supporter of a candidate but…..I really think that some of these people are mentally disturbed…aahhh…any thanks again and you’ve got a really nice site here I’ll be lurking…

Hours ago I saw Rubio touring the stage and debate site. He already looked pale, wet and shaky, I think this is going to be a bad debate for him.

CNN also said that Trump doesn’t do the pre debate walkthrough 😀

Trump must start his rallies with videos of him from the eighties and nineties saying the same things he says today to show that it is a scam that he only recently became a republican. Trump is losing this one because he keeps saying the Reagan soundbite. He needs to point out all the Republicans he gave money to. He needs to put full page in WSJ with list of monies given to Republicans vs what gave to Dems. That list shows where his heart always has been. He needs to take full adds with the false tweet of Beck’s and his own tweet that proves he did not. He must get visuals out in front of people.l

I’m actually starting to rethink exactly what I believe or at least how I think it should be because we have a lot of American women who leave this country and have children in other countries, including some who move to the middle east. That is a scary thought to me and since it is a scary thought for me it makes me think about how the founding fathers thought.

Trump in my opinion doesn’t do well, or as well as he should, in these debates. We know of, and so therefore I’m sure he knows of, so much ammo he could fire, but doesn’t. He has a healthcare plan, tell it!
The setup question about Trump picking a Supreme Court judge and if Ted “trusts” him. It is stacked against him but I believe he should be decimating these rubes. Helps to have the questions beforehand, granted, but with his intelligence, I think some prep would be good. He needs a debate coach.

Whoa, one of my Texan friends who has been with Cruz, gave him money for his Senate run, volunteered for him and has been doing the same for his Presidential run just texted me. We had an agreement since I started supporting Trump that we would not discuss politics until this was over.
I haven’t replied back yet, because I know this is a big deal to her. She has truly believed in Cruz. I don’t know how she has felt about all the other shenanigans because we haven’t talked about it. I wish I could have watched tonight because it must have been really bad for her to be saying this.

      Here is what she said:
I am witnessing Cruz joining at the hip with the establishment.

      I’m done.

      I’m glad I haven’t voted yet.

I am disgusted and sick at my stomach.

It makes you wonder if he didn’t care and has been promised something or thinks the establishment will get behind him?

I just don’t see any other explanation for someone who has tried to run his campaign as it’s me vs the establishment.

Myself have came to the conclusion before tonight that he is establishment, but you’d think he wouldn’t make it obvious.

I did talk to her on the phone today. She said she has been troubled by the stuff in Iowa and the over the top religious talk, but that he was the first politician she ever truly trusted. She talked about a one on one conversation she had with him when he was running for Senator.
So she kept wanting to make excuses for his behavior or wanted to think he had gotten in over his head with a Presidential run and was allowing people to run his campaign and make bad decisions.
Then she said during the debate she couldn’t hide her head in the sand anymore, it was obvious to even a blind man that he was doing the work for the establishment. She said she still believes this is not the same man she sat across from a few years ago, but she believes that man no longer exists and it makes her sick.
She said she is going to vote for Trump, not because she necessarily likes him or trusts him but because he’s the only one she can vote for because Rubio is pro-amnesty and establishment, Kasich is a joke and Carson may be a nice guy but he’s not Presidential material, so that only leaves Trump and she just has to hope that he will enforce our immigration laws like he says and secure our border and she’ll just have to put other issues important to her on the back burner.

I’m going to have to find time this weekend to watch the debate because I’m still kind of shocked he was able to lose her support, although it sounds like she was already starting to see he wasn’t the person he sells himself as.
