Fox News put out a a poll, Would you be scared if Donald Trump won the election? 38% of people said yes. SMH, In fairness they asked about the other candidates but I imagine Trump was candidate zero.

I’d like to comment on something that Trump just said. He stated that Sadaam Hussein stopped terrorists. I’m sorry, but I remember him giving rewards to Palestinian families whose sons blew themselves up as suicide bombers, and sending Scud missiles towards Israel. I also remember Salman Pak, and the terrorist school. So, no, Mr. Trump – Sadaam Hussein was not anti terrorist.

My personal belief is that Trump should back off on the “Iraq was okay” line. I’m not convinced on the “there were no WMD’s” either, because there were WMD’s, and that came out after the Wiki Leaks disclosures.

James Taranto has an opinion piece about this today in WSJ. Unfortunately, most of it is unavailable unless you are a WSJ member. It’s called “Beating The Bushes”. I think he goes on to explain why this is working for Trump, but I can’t read it, so there’s no way to be sure.

I had one for a few months last summer/fall, but cancelled it. When I was still working, I could read it for free.
