Tripod’s eating just fine, Weed.
No sign of Miss Kitty. I’m kicking myself for not further exploring the basement next door for her. I’ll be going down there today with a flashlight and treats, just to make sure. I doubt she’s down there, but who knows?
Tripod has been meowing to come inside my apt. since we found him. I usually let him sleep on my bed for a couple hours at a time… so far no pooping. He’s also VERY talkative since we found him. He’s sitting outside on the 2nd floor fire escape right now.
I was set to write a photographic memorial today. I only have about 500 pictures of them, and eight or nine years of memories. That memorial will have to wait.
I’m still kind of stunned that he’s back. I actually wrote him off, and accepted that he was indeed gone. He eats Nine Lives. Of course he does.

Dude is sleeping on my bed right now. I just picked/combed/brushed a big handful of yellow fiberglass insulation out of his fur. I know he’s sleeping in the day under a big return-air unit on the neighboring building. I made a big straw house, but he refuses to use it, and instead makes the epic trek to the rooftops.
I really sort of do wish someone had stolen him. Now I worry about him again.
Not right now, though. He’s purrin.
